You are in absolutly no position to slate Leeds about bringing through youngsters. On Friday we had 11 homegrown players whereas you had only 9. Next season instead of bringing through your amazing and fantastic youngsters as you all seem to think you have brought in 3 Aussies which will hinder the progress of any young players at your club.

UK produced bought in - Leeds 2, Wigan 4

Overseas Trained - Leeds 6, Wigan 5

What happens when you replace Aussies with Aussies though? Whilst that doesn't elevate the prospects of the younger players, it certainly doesn't restrict them any more so than now. Feka will leave to be replaced by Lima, Bailey will go for Hoffman and Riddell will go for Finch (with a positional shuffle).

Admittedly, we've not been that good in recent years at protecting our home grown players, but that certainly can't be levied at us this season.

If you have three overseas players leaving at the end of the season, you had a chance to promote 3 youngsters who would have taken their place in the squad. However you have chose to bring over three imports instead of developing the potential replacements.

I know we did, which has hindered the progress of the likes of Watkins and Pitts. I'm not saying this to try and gain the higher moral ground with the Wigan fans as we do it ourselves. However they seem to hark on about their great youth team and all the youngsters they are breeding through, even though they have just announced three imports which stops them bringing them through.
