I know you have a few key players missing, but I just cant see us getting anything at a place we always struggle without Houghton, Paea, Faraimo, Watts and maybe Tuimavave. On the plus side if Tuimavave and Faraimo are missing we should see Jack Logan get a game which will be nice to see after a rough couple of years for him.

On the Connor debate. He is still young. He has errors in him and he can be petulant. However, he is a fierce competitor and is capable of genuine moments of freakish skill. I have very high hopes for him. Just not sure whether his future lies at 3 or 6.

We need more players that wind everyone up, not less. The game is thankfully more sanitised than it was in terms of violence, but having players people love to hate is part of any sport.

Who is out for Leeds, we have Faraimo, Kelly, Watts, Houghton, Paea and Bowden?

Really can't see us getting anything out of this with those players out and our record at Leeds

Oledzki played the entire first half, the first few minutes of the second half and about 66 minutes in total (and did well). Ormondroyd played 70 minutes at left centre! Both a direct consequence of an injury to Fev's starting centre Anthony Thackeray after 10 minutes.

No need to risk Walker with Golding available and eager to stake his claim. Wouldn't be surprised to see one of Oledzki or Ormondroyd miss out (probably the former) if they played on Sunday, which means Walters could be in which will lead to plenty of moans.

Feels like our league season finally starts now after going off to Aus and missing last weeks round it's been a disjointed beginning.

That side looks pretty strong - Handley aside - should be competitive if nothing else

Some good players there to be fair, still don't fancy us though.

Think Oledeski and Walker to miss out.
I would prefer Handley on the wing with Briscoe at centre but doubt that will happen.

Its doubtful that Ward, Keinhorst and Ferres would get picked in the same side if all were fit

Cuthbertson has been key to what Leeds have done on attack in the last 2 SL title wins.
Interesting for me to see whether Leeds can get over the line enough to beat Hull. Near the line kicking is so critical now but for mine we usually look very limited playing the off cuff game without Cuthbo. Parcell also suffers without him. We got on the right side of a lot of very close games last year - looking forward to see if we can edge a win. Think FC are due one.

Will be interesting to see how Walker is used off the bench. With Ormondroyd/Oledzki/Walters in the mix for bench spots (the former two having played on Sunday) I can see it being another game with limited sub use.

Was going to post something similar. Can see Walker being an unused sub - I don't think there will be any intention of playing him, even if a back goes down injured.
