Certainly not condoning what Bobz did but if the disciplinary panel do dish out a ban bearing in mind his previous exemplary record and that he will have a maximum of 5 games left in his professional career then the world has gone mad. But if the punishment is a one or two game ban due to (in the RFL's own citation) "light contact", why waste an EGP if he only gets a one game ban anyway?
His record & whatever evidence he brings in his own defence to mitigate the punishment could/should result in at worst a one game ban & he may even get off with a fine.

Doubt he'll get away without a ban. Guessing a combination of being from the Cas area he really wants to play this one before he retires and also stake a claim for a starting HB shirt whilst Moon is most likely absent.

Yeah I get the feeling the change of decision came from the club who know that Salford at home presents a strong chance to clinch that 2nd spot, no point risking missing that when the chances of avoiding a ban completely must've been slim. Whilst it's not a dead rubber for us, if we do happen to win this week it'll just be dismissed because Cas have nothing to play for and it won't convince anyone who thinks Leeds can't beat Cas when it matters to alter that opinion especially if they rest 2/3 starters again this week.
