And allthough much more reflective than a minority fan poll, I don't think highlights can show exactly what I said.

Take Wakefield away for instance. We we were down something like 28-16, with just over 10 minutes left, with many fans leaving the stadium after writing it off. We were completely been dominated, Wakefield were keeping us in our half, and we could not get out. We introduced Buderus off the bench at this time, and the whole momentum changed. Much faster passing out of dummy half, and some good needed metres, along with supporting two of the breaks. That influenced that result big time.

No but 2 of those teams finished in the "top 4" rather than missing the playoffs like one of the supposed "big 4"

As Buderus is reasonably unlikely to play against one of the big 4 while he is contracted to play for one of them, who replaces Leeds in the quartet?

Teams finishing 3rd and 4th at the end of the regular rounds would have a better claim than teams who finished outside the top 8 in 2009. Indeed all 4 of the opponents mentioned made last season's play-offs.

I was arguing with the Wakefield fans that Ganson was ridiculously one sided to them, and intimated that had =#FF0040they(Wakfield) won, it would have been down to Ganson.

You also stated that the final 13 mins were no different to the preceding 67.

I know I did, and would say it again even now. Of course I am going to defend the side full stop against wakey fans, or any other set of oppossition fans. Doesn't mean that I can't give a truer account when discussing with our own fans.

I've also continually defended Bailey to oppossition fans over the years, and on a few occassions Diskin. It's a completely different context.

Wakey fans, Cas fans, Wigan fans, the whole lot. It's not a lie its just playing on it. I have no problem in a Leeds fan critisizing Leeds or it's playes, but I sure would not have an oppossition fan doing it.



There was even a post on the VT in a thread last season from G1 arguing to oppossition fans about how Budures is the best hooker in the league, and only injuries had held him back so far. It's true no lie. Of course I have to accept that for the reasons that were behind it.
