Doesn't sound a done deal to me, but it is about time the situation was resolved, hopefully with us being properly recompensed.

Nor really true that is it. And he showed complete contempt for the club the fans, his team mates, backroom staff, the league, so I treat him with the same contempt, now he is finally gone. Good riddance and move on

Interesting that the YEP article talks of a fee agreed between Leeds and the Sharks, yet in the Oz press and comments directly from the Sharks still talk of an agreement between James and Leeds.
The Sharks said all along they'd only be interested if he sorted a release with Leeds.

The Sharks are still playing the "it had nothing to do with us" card. On the Cronulla message boards I looked at most said he was already training with them for a while now yet their coach here makes out he doesn't know what shape he's in.

He's not been training with the Sharks, he's been playing touch in the local parks with some of them (those that are his mates) - the NRL would not allow him to train with the squad until his issue with Leeds was sorted. The only thing he has been doing is using the Sharks gym. He's not done any field work with the team, but I'm sure they're perfectly aware of his current shape.

But if they havent paid a fee then why release him at all? Its not like it effects us if he goes now or in a years time.

I expect we have just lowered the fee a bit (I dont think we should have even done that)

) to get Segeyaro in their squad he must have been training with them. they have a rookie 9 playing at the minute yet destroyed Canberra away last weekend, he is the final piece of a tasty looking jigsaw they will go close to GF again with him in their team.

Anyway, usual nonsense rolled out, pretty glad it looks like the whole saga is being laid to rest now it was going nowhere fast and nobody was really going to look good for the continued stalemate.

So the big winter question our CEO set up was the (THE BIG I AM) Segeyaro stays unless we get £250.000. We all knew it was crap and now it's ended as "strictly confidential". So once again what is he going to do with his latest pay-out that we see nothing for?
