CBA category for me tonight. Not even watching it on TV either.
Not as much to do with the poor performances of Leeds for me but more to do with the general tripe on offer throughout SL which is the main factor in my CBA-ness status. I can only stomach watching Catalans these days. At least they've got a few star quality players who are actually worth watching.
Two season tickets not being utilised among my family members. Probably still counted in the official attendance tonight though.'"
I've actually been to more games already this year than I did last already, but that's more to do with taking my 4yr old as he is rugby mad at the moment, but I have actually been a bit bored at some of the games TBH, also not watching as many neutral games as I used to. Not sure if this is the lack of entertainment and standard or that we are poor. This last year I have watched a fair bit of a amateur games again because of my boy and actually found myself more interested there than at HQ at moment.
That said taking the kids tonight but don't hold out much hope

I take in a under 13, and under 15 game every week, and normally there is an under 16 game after the under 15's so watch that also. Much prefer that this season.
I don't mind losing games, but the crap on offer from Leeds full stop this year is really bad to stay interested at. It is a game thing aswell though, as usually go to about 6 or 7 Cas games per season, and this year they too are crap to watch.

Ablett mentioned it in his Collum as well the drop in standards. I don't know if when your winning it doesn't register not sure. I remember watching a lot of dross last year as well but it seems worse again this year

| Lower level RL's always been worth a watch, Batley v Fev will likely be the best sky game of the weekend. Much more likely to watch that than I am to replay ours.

| Much better. Burrow and Hardaker really stood up and led, as well as JJB in the last 20 minutes. Lilley kicked really well throughout but Sutcliffe was terrible again.

| This was probably are best performance too date along with the first half in wcc not convinced are attack is all there yet but defence definitely improved though Burrow,Lilley,Hardaker, JJB and Keinhorst were are best performers tonight hopefully kick on now and get ourselves up the table. All Leeds aren't we, all Leeds aren't, all Leeds aren't we.

Wouldn't say he was terrible, but not as impressive as other pivots, average maybe better description.
I just prefer Lilley over Sutcliffe because Lilley looks determined to get himself involved and make a contribution and not wait for the game to come to him like Sutcliffe (or again the disappointing Watkins).
Hardaker had a couple of knock ons 1st half and again the thing about him leaving kicks for the wingers was obvious (although Golding made a great escape from one to avoid a drop out). However did do a lot of good things and created the first try for those particular "he can't pass at all" crowd and some good defence.l
Keinhorst just such a good worker and whilst they don't have the strength of Hall and Briscoe in carrying the ball Golding and Handley did OK. Achurch came up with one good offload but defensively he just isn't good enough for me.
They'll inevitably be the talk of the unused sub, however I thought Burrow was having one of his better games at hooker so didn't mind the-still-to-impress Falloon not getting on.

| Kick on and move up the table?
It will likely just be a punctuation mark in another losing run as our next games include saints, warrington wigan and huddserfield. None at headingley.
Who do huddersfield play at magic weekend? How the f*ck were those fixtures decided again?

| McDermott didn't seem happy after game. Mentioned stuff going on behind the scenes in his usual cryptic way, but sounded like he had had enough to me.
Maybe just me reading too much into it.

Next two games dictate how the season goes. Saints are a bit weird, last week look very good beating Warrigton away, last night look very poor losing to Catalans. They've turned into a very Jekyll and Hyde team and IF it's a dry day and we can pass it around we saw last year that they don't like facing that against us.
Then Hudds, won tonight but obviously still hasn't been a great season for them. Us vs them is always close so could come down to one bad decision or error.

It wasn't really picked up at the time (because of our situation and a loss) but I remember he said something similar after one of the first defeats of the year (can't remember which one) and I thought at the time is he not entirely happy with the behind the scenes stuff.
Most agree he's a very stubborn guy, so if he isn't being signed the players he wants, or allowed to sell the players he wants then how long does a very stubborn guy put up with that? Remember this is a guy who apparently REFUSES to have an assistant, if he can refuse an assistant then why would he put up with not having the squad he wants?

He is an infuriating man. Credit where it is due though, he got his team selection spit on, I thought before game it was silly, but he was right. Although with Ablett in that second half was shocking. He was dead within five minutes of second half, and costing us, but he kept him out there. Had Hull used their heads and ran at Ablett there was plenty score in it.
From the game, Finally, we have a captain performance. Thought Lilley was superb throughout, and really linked well with Hardaker in controlling that second half. Forwards set a good platform, and Burrow played as an hooker, band completely tore them apart with the running. Handley for me gets better and better.
Mr Cobb was a joke and way out of his depth.

One good thing to come out of this poor season, we won't play wigan at Magic in 2017

| Well played. Turned into a decent game despite the rain. Could have gone either way which is ultimately what we want to see.
Thought you played the conditions better especially in the first 20.

| On the game, i thought it was even and a draw would probably have been a fair result on balance. It was a desperate scrap at times but for a game played in a down pour it wasn't too bad.
From a Leeds perspective, Can't fault the effort at all tonight they fought hard for the points even though our lack of ideas in the opposition 20 are still clear as day.

| It was a much improved performance, Keinhorst was solid, Lilley really grew as the game wore on and the more we see of Handley the more I don't think we can justify Briscoe or Hall just walking back into a starting berth.
Having said that we still conceded some soft tries and desperately nee to work on controlling the ptb, the amount of good quick ball FC had in the second half they should have ripped us apart.
Plenty to work on but onwards and upwards hopefully.

Honestly didn't see that many more tries in Hull (not a trolling attempt just honest view) one of your best chances in the first half was wasted by Pitchard, who whilst had a good game, was daft to try that behind the back pass in those conditions.

We had three clear clean breaks, shaul backs them up, tries everyone.
Agreed the flick pass from frank was a daft option in that weather
