As much as I like Powell I think this year is your peak. You'll be without Clarke, Huby and Sneyd next year - arguably your three best players (or at least 3 of your top half dozen)

We have a big transition ahead but some excellent younger players with a lot of experience

Leeds are a quality outfit as everyone knows. It is very difficult to reach a peak for the Cup Final come down and then peak all over for the play offs. Yes Wigan did it last year really that was the exception that proved the rule.

So Leeds will be a force again next year and once again have stocked the trophy cabinet in 2014. The way Leeds started this season with an unbelievable defensive record (9 against per game until way into the season) I did expect them to do even better but it's a long season and with the benefit of hindsight that was never going to be sustained.

Always Leeds players and coaches show class even in defeat. The opposition are given due credit, no hard luck stories, no referee bashing, no excuses. I admire that.

Can't win 'em all Leeds fans. Congratulations to Catalans Dragons on a deserved victory.
With Todd Carney and a rejuvenated Scott Dureau in the ranks they are only going to be even better in 2015.

Huby and Clarke are obviously massive losses, but, Chase looked completely irreplaceable and was totally relied upon - Powell takes a championship cast-off and a bottom of the league surplus to requirement halves and we're revolutionised.

Our signings for next season are cherry picked for purpose and we will be a much more difficult side to beat. That's not to say we'll finish as high, but there'll be more consistency, grit and structure.

This team could still have one last hurrah in it over the next season or two but the worrying thing is what happens next? The players coming through are hardly ripping up trees and we are going to be having several all time greats in key positions moving on at the same time.

Leeds season is over and with the CC in the cupboard that means the 10 year successful period continues .I am looking forward to see how the rest of the play off period up to the GF plays out and any team left is capable of winning it and up to now only Saints have won a trophy. There are only 3 trophies on offer Leeds have got one Saints the other!

weve got 5..and 2006 we won everything on offer.....then we started to get to all those grand finals and losing..(especially to you lot our bogie team)..lol...so really i don't think anyone should gloat on here after all youv'e achieved over the years...up to now we are second best......see you lot next season!

The leeds team as we have all known it over the last 10 or so years (and enjoyed some of the performances) are now too long in the tooth and to put it bluntly sadly past it, i think you are going to have to go through a period now similar to what Wigan,Saints & Warrington have had to do and rebuild from the foundations up.

See some teams gloating like Wigan and Saints isn't too bad, when you look at the Hull board and they're celebrating us losing in the playoffs like they've won something themselves after finishing 11th then it's a bit tragic.

That's quite a good gloat and we had gloats like that in 2010 and we didn't make excuses about 2010 season just proved we weren't officially past it even though the 2010 leeds team was still the best
