I was cheering in the crowds when we were promoted from the third tier after narrowly beating Gillingham!
Can a Manchester man not support his local football team? Just like the population of Surrey, Dublin, and Singapore support Manchester United, or dare I say it, a resident of Mallorca support Leeds [size=50(or even a Mancunian support Wigan RLFC  )[/size?

Can we begin the era then when EVERY team was fully professional and playing on a level playing field? I think this would be a fairer point to start at than Wigan's history making years when it most certainly wasn't.

There will never be a level playing field in Super League, just because clubs can spend up to the same upper limit, doesn't mean all will or indeed can.
The gulf in class between the top and bottom of Super League is as bad as it's ever been.
