Spot on. Can't believe anyone not having Buderus top, let alone top 3. He was unbelievable last night.

To say BJB was average would be generous. He was a lightweight and quite frankly dissapointing.

I know it was at a more fatigued time, but how much better didi we look when Buderus came back on, Siiny moved to loose, Burrow to scrum half, and Mags to SO?

Not coincidental at all that we play better and look better when our 6,7,9 & 13 are playing in their desired positions?

I was surprised Ablett won the MOTM by SKY, didn't think he should have been anywhere near it. Sinfield I thought was the best player on the pitch, closely followed by Buderus.

Although Buderus and Sinfield were outstanding last night, Ablett had a stormer and was easily in contention for MotM.

Can we please please keep Buderus on for the full 80; along with the 'triangle' of Burrow/McGuire/Sinfield. We know it makes sense



Delaney impresses more each time when in the forwards: great at driving the ball in and now also looking to offload.
Peacock looked back to form, but the penalties for high shots were a repeated concern...and what was he doing not passing to Ablett for a ceratin try (the least the latter deserved for an industrious contribution).
JJB was well worth his pay packet too.

Much better discipline and solid defence......BUT

Let's not kid ourselves. Hull must be the worst team I've seen for a long time in attack: even more devoid of any cutting thrust than our lot. Hopeless. The amount of dropped ball and missed opportunities surpassed even Leeds' efforts.
The malaise still runs deep.

Nantwichexile has it spot on, dispite some on here slagging him Burrow is by far our better 7 and DMc is a pale shadow of himself

Yep. We have a stand off, a scrum half, a hooker & a loose forward. It seems obvious to me to play them in their positions rather than the stand off at scrum half, the scrum half at hooker and the loose forward at stand off. But I suppose that's the Leeds way. Hauraki to centre, it's the obvious next step.

I don't agree. I thought he did well. His two errors were poor but I don't think they're going to be a long term problem. He looked safe at the back and linked well. A decent display IMO.

I can put the mistakes aside, it happens. Is link play was poor, more to it than just linking. Had Webb been in that position I would have been confident of another couple of tries at least. More a dissapointment for me though was how light in the collission, too easy to push back, or to touch.

The lads got a good future, but just on last night, it's definately not centre as previously mentioned, and I have my doubts about fullback. He looks a very good winger.

Fair enough, we'll agree to disagree like grown ups.

BJB is not your third pivot like Webb is. He is a running, supporting fullback. There were 2 or 3 times where the ball was on over the top to the winger, and Webb would have seen it (may have thrown it forward also!). I thought BJB went well for a young lad, attacks at pace and is on the end of a lot. Would be interested to see Hardaker given a chance at fulback as well though. Oh and when oh when will we put that lad in some space?

When we have some centres that can make some?

Given the first choice centre pairing are currently sat in the stands (one having played his last game for the club) there's no reason to expect the wingers were ever going to be prolific.

Doesn't seem to have stopped Hall from being third(?) in the try charts though.

Largely thanks to cut out passes missing the centre(s) altogether.

Webb & Leuluai expected to return fom injury on Sunday and Watkins also has a chance of making a comeback following his wrist problem.

Looking forward to Watkins returning.
