I set off at 1pm and was lucky to be caught near the front of the queue, we managed to get to Warrington by 4.45pm after finally getting off at J24 and going via Sowerby & Ripponden.
I think you owe the people that did make it, like me, and the others that were left with no real choice but to turn back, an apology? Believe me we thought about turning back after being stuck for 3 hours but decided that we would probably make kick-off.
