Missing the injection of spark that Newman and Fusitua would give. You gotta feel a bit for the backs. Just no spark.

Agreed, discipline is so much more than giving away penalties, it’s not having the discipline to work hard enough and be committed to your team mates. We look like strangers and that’s very definitely coaching.

We need Newman and Fusi back sharpish, we have no strike in the 3/4s at the moment

Missing strike power is just one of the many things this team is lacking

The players missing are no excuse for this.

We have such little composure. Either we don’t know what to do at the back end of sets, or we know and don’t do it. For me, both of these are coaching issues, as it’s either a problem with messaging or adherence to the message and therefore discipline.

Why does Dwyer seem to have more of the ball in sets than the halfbacks? They’re hardly touching the ball near the opponents line. Absolute schoolboy stuff ……

The ref sure is allowing a lot of slowing the tackle
