Time for another email from GH?

Its been obvious since 2015 the pack has been on the slide especially up front. Then we let our best prop go and don't replace him! Anyway, always going to be a meh season, i will give Furner a chance to get in his own players and then judge.

It's over , he's finished , The most incompetent coach since dean lance. We have gone backwards since he became coach, talk about clear out, it's time the whole back room staff was sacked. He has no idea. It's all down to money now, we owe the banks millions, we cannot pay the debt with dwindling crowds which will be the case if performance does not improve, this is becoming a serious situation with a coach who has no idea on how to get the team to defend

I'm not sure about Merrin's much vaunted leadership qualities so far, although he's obviously a decent player otherwise.

We've lost what made us great. Too many players don't cut it. Too early to write off furner imo. The rebuild is bigger then we realise

Agreed. Surely Furner has to start dropping some of the under-performers now, assuming the squad has other willing bodies to fill in.

There are far too many that are simply not putting in the effort, and plenty that are simply not good enough, perhaps including some of the signings?

Keep the faith, don't worry, we can always sign Furners son who plays for Stanningley, he's coached by Ash Golding and Jordan Lilley . Lol.
This rubbishy from the team has to stop and if Furner cannot stop the rot he has to go. Would the likes of Shaun Wane put up with this team

Starting to..... STARTING to?!?! I'd write to GH and ask for some petrol money back if I thought it would get me some where. Too many players coasting a living and not putting a shift in. Hell, at least Ferres looked 10% interested tonight! But its an utter shambles. Glad Hudds are just about beating Wigan though

Seconded here.... and no doubt thirded, fourthed and fifthed plus by others too. Furner is clueless, I never saw one dissent from a player towards BMc and I've seen 3 in 2 weeks now.

Not sure what some on here were expecting - Hull away is a tough fixture. Losing at home to Wakey was big, and now London next week is massive.

Conceding 30 points per game really isn’t acceptable at this level. There aren’t any quick fixes unfortunately.

Thing is, we’ve offloaded some players who have landed straight into mid-table Championship sides, and there are some others who would probably go the same way still in the first team. How Leeds have arrived at this is a head scratcher.

What I'd expect is that the team would get the most out of themselves more often than not regardless of result. That's not happened. They've arrived at this by signing very average players over the last few years, namely the project signings in the forwards. It's been a long term decline not overnigh.

We're not good enough, but Furner needs time. It was always going to take more than 3 or signings to sort this out. The squad needs a overhaul in personnel, and in mental fortitude.

The question is whether we just have a bang average, frustrating but progressive season, or we end up in another relegation battle.

I’m not sure who else in the squad comes in to improve the side either.

I feel that Furners overuse of the word 'there' is going to be tipped over the edge tonight!
