Had we had the same championship player performance at half back last night we would have won. So his skills did make a difference for Cas last night.

I am not telling myself it will be ok. I have been saying since Sinfield left that we needed a quality replacement and I have wanted a replacement for Galloway too. Without these key replacements the squad is much weaker and cannot withstand a season long run of losing half our starting lineup each week. This is the single most important factor in our disappointing results this season and to pretend otherwise is not credible.

Cas are all the things i mentioned, they, like us, have been beset with injuries, but because of all the things i mentioned, theyr joint third in the league with a game in hand, just two points off second and Theyv won twice as many games as theyv lost. We'v lost more than we'v won and our coach thinks we'v done well not to get beat by more points, at home, to an also understrength Huddersfield team.

Theres no comparison in how the two clubs and coaches are handling there similar injury situations.

The point more is how Juan can say he was having a bad game, when it was yet another not in the TV whilst he sits abroad on his deckchair. This is the problem a lot of times, armchair supporters making statements they are not in a position to state.

There is no denying it’s disappointing to be on a bad run of losing games right now. But the ridiculous anti-McDermott and anti-certain players agenda on this board is embarrassing. Every other club in the league would love to be half as successful as we are but I see the same people pop up when we have a dip in form criticising a manager that is leagues ahead of everyone in terms of thinking and passion for the game. Get a grip and get behind the team. If we win our challenge cup semi you’ll all be at Wembley cheering on the team but if we lose the semi, you’ll all be calling for half the team to be sacked and for McDermott to be chased out of Leeds. Think that’s really harsh and undeserved. He started off the season well for us. He suffered with our decimated / injured / out of form pack.

Started the season well? He ran the ball twice in his own half on the last tackle in the first 4 games. Once at Melbourne and then again at Widnes. He threw to ball to JJB on last at Widnes when Myler was stood in position to his left for kick on last at Widnes. For a hooker that lack of a rugby brain is criminal to me.

His contact in defence is poor too i think.

The lad is enthusiastic and eager with a bit of speed out of dummy half and i was quietly pleased with his signing but there was always a reason he fell to 3rd choice hooker behind Morgan Smith at Wire and i could see it early.

losing those players to head knocks certainly didnt help leeds cause but myler and lilley just arent good enough... young ollie russell on only his second sl game showed then how its done

I thought the ref had a decent game actually and didnt blow up much at all. He wasnt over fussy and gave the game a chance to flow a bit at least.

Certainly right about Lilley not been good enough but i wouldnt blame the halves last night as the pack was pathetic from minute 1. Huddersfield was the better team and fully deserved the win.

Myler’s been one of the only positives of a mainly awful season. Probably our only consistently good performing player.

They get 100% backing at & during every game.
As for being fickle its not it's having an opinion when things are clearly wrong.

Agree 100% with this no wonder we get called Whinos, look at the long running thread mcdermott out that started in 2011 and that in itself is quite embarrassing, same negative opinions recycled year after tear after continually being proben wrong.

We are in a hole no doubt but rational discussion goes out of the window on here sometimes whilst peoples super coach and teferee whinger Daryl Powell has yet to win a big game even this year.

Go on every board and it is the same. Especially the big teams, it is not just us far from it. Anyway, people are entitled to their opinions and after all this is the place we come to let it all out and vent our frustrations when things are not going well. Some people do go over the top a bit i will give you that but it would be a boring place if we all toed the Leeds party line and said 'ah well, things will come good in the end because they have several times in the recent past, keep serving up the dross lads'.

I wonder if this new stadium redevelopment will be a financial millstone as regards signing players ?

shouldn't be. if a club like Leeds can't afford to spend the cap, stand or no stand, something's wrong.

I don’t think many teams have a thread running from 7 years ago from a year into a new coaches regime that constantly calls for the coaches head using the same rhetoric throughout one of the best run of winning trophies the club has ever had.

Of course this board is for venting frustrations and of course everyone is entitled to an opinion but this place is so overly negative sometimes its like a parody
