| When did Minchella go on loan?
There's no recall within the first 28 days under RFL rules.

| If we'd sent Tonks and Foster on loan to Fev rather than trying to pull a spiffing wheeze to get around the salary cap, they would potentially have been available to recall. Same with Luke Briscoe at Hunslet.
I'm guessing the Clarkson loan to Widnes has a "no recall" clause in it, like most season-long loans?

He went Wednesday before Easter for rest of season, I don't know if he can get brought back early, and I don't think he knows either

| Quote ="Andy Gilder"Mulhern didn't play for Hunslet last Friday with a sternum problem, so you're down to 17 in that case.
Might necessitate playing Sinfield at loose, even though it doesn't really fit the way the team is set up.

Handley
Keinhorst
Ablett
Hall
Sutcliffe
McGuire
Peacock
Aiton
Cuthbertson
Ward
Walters
Sinfield

Don't think we can go with Ablett, Keinhorst and Handley in the three quarters. If we're down to the bare bones I would consider Burrow at FB, with Watkins and Keinhorst in the centres and Walters dropping to the bench. Sinfild to cover DH.

So assuming sicknote doesn't make it, and Keinhorst is playing in that totally irrelevant game. I assume it will be
Sutcliffe
Handley
Watkins
Ablett
Hall
McGuire
Burrow
Peacock
Aiton
Singleton
Cuthbertson
Ward
Sinfield
Yates
Mulhern
Walters
Lilley

| I would like to see Lilley given some game time to see if he's up to it.
But I'm not sure that the (probable) 5 minutes or so game time he'll get will tell us anything.

| I'd go with a similar team to Gotcha, though I'm hoping Keinhorst will play and I'd have Cuthbertson on the bench to give us some impact.

5. Hall
6. McGuire
7. Burrow
8. Singleton
9. Aiton

Shouldn't need any persuasion really. Yeah I get the whole 'representing your country' line but chances for Keinhorst to play games for Leeds are few and far between and if I was in his shoes I wouldn't pass up the chance for a game. For his career, the best option would to play for Leeds and try and have a strong game.

| If no JJB & Mulhern: Watkins, Handley, Keinhorst, Ablett, Hall, Sinfield, McGuire, Singleton, Burrow, Yates, Sutcliffe, Walters, Ward.
Bench: Cuthbertson 35 mins stint bridging H/T, Aiton 20 mins at hooker and rest 2nd row rotation, Lilley & Peacock 20 mins in 2nd half. If we're out of sight then just flog Yates.
If no JJB & Keinhorst: Watkins, Handley, Ablett, Sutcliffe, Hall, Sinfield, Hall, Singleton, Burrow, Yates, Walters, Ward, Cuthbertson.
Bench: Mulhern, Aiton, Lilley, Peacock unused substitute if no injuries to other props.

| No JJB & Keinhorst: Sutcliffe. Handley Watkins Ablett Hall, McGuire Lilley, Cuthbertson Aiton Peacock, Ward Walters, Sinfield.
Burrow Yates Mulhern Singleton.
I wouldn't play Lilley on the bench as it wouldn't be beneficial to him and he probably wouldn't be brought on if we're losing. Starting would be better as we could bring burrow on.

| Quote ="Claypitrhino"Be interesting to see who does play fullback, assuming Golding is injured too and Moon odds on to be banned which I think leaves us in a position where Watkins would be pretty certain to remain in the centres, is there a possibility that we will see sutcliffe play there? He had a stint there against wakey last season when BJB went off after that lengthy on field treatment, he didn't do too badly either from what I recall against at that time was a slightly stronger wakefield outfit.'"

No issue with the squad as a whole having to play today and Thursday, I suppose I'd just have expected McDermott to be slightly more selective with a player such as peacock

| That was a decent offensive result today, having personally had concerns we would be beaten.
Although to be honest there were times in that first half hour of second half when I could have seen kids teams scoring. Wakey went to pieces and we're just awful.
We were not that good for the majority, scored some good tries and like to see us scoring, but much tougher opposition ahead.
Sutcliffe was very good, without actually doing much, silly as it sounds. He just did the right things, but wasn't exactly tested. I have to say Keinhorst looked quite good. Handley still looked suspect defensively, Sinfield was dissapointing, and I am still just not getting it with Yates.
