Fozzard got dropped from our squad with better stats than Bailey. I sincerely doubt that even the most spannerish of Leeds fans would rate Bailey as better than Puletua.

I give Senior his due for making the most of his talents. Indeed, if THAT were the absolute yardstick of greatness he might well be close to the top of the pile. But it isn't.
Like Senior, Harris endured as a top flight player. But he was also more talented and influential. The fact that he was instrumental in the Bulls AND Rhinos' SL championships puts him above Senior alone.'" The fact that Harris was not involved in any of Leeds championships simply demonstrates what little grasp you have about the subject you're pontificating on, as per usual.

| So be warned - young people - too much weed can seriously damage your memory.
But Leeds' defeat to - rather than victory over - Wigan does not alter the fact that Harris was a better player than Senior (in his prime he'd make Keith look like JOHN Senior). And Harris certainly WAS a key member of Bradford's superb championship charge from an unprecedented third place, despite spending time out in Rugger Bugger land and returning in a pretty appalling state.
And no amount of history revision will blot out your pre-Union/Bulls worship of Harris. Although I expect you lot will comically take your best shot at trivialising his Blue and Amber achievements some time around

GO on then, I'll give you Tony P, but are you seriously saying you'd take Fozzard over Bailey? This is where Saints fans petty campaigns to belittle a 4 time SL winner takes over from reality. Fozzard wasn't even good enough to get another gig at Hull KR

You can't really compare the 2 as players due to the positions they play. In his prime Harris was a lot more important to the Leeds side than Senior was due to the influence he could have over the game. Harris is a Leeds legend, mainly for his exploits in helping us win the Challenge Cup in 1999. He was also the best player in the League without full recognition for at least 2 years. Any real Leeds fan will confirm that.
Over the course of Super League Keith's consistency in performances makes him a better player in the SL era IMO otherwise we can start saying Trent Barrett, Jamie Lyon, hell lets throw Andrew Johns in, were the best/most influential players in the 14 years of SL

Don't deflect away from your brain fart by pretending anybody here is saying Harris wasn't a Leeds great. He was.
Still, I'd be interested for you to expand on this Championship he won with us.
Do you know ANYTHING about Rugby League?

| Quote ="G1"No, what makes it true is his selection, week after week , after week, in of the the current era's most dominant team. What makes it true is that coach after coach at his club have selected him week after week. What makes it true is the domestic honours he's achieved. What makes it true is the international recognition he receives.
I don't need to wait for any stats to know the above.'"
For most of the period when we have been the most dominant team he has been the weakest link and the coaches have been limited with the salary cap. He is really a failed 2nd row who couldn't keep his place there. As a prop he just doesn't have any go forward which is the props prime role. He has not progressed and certainly is not feared by other clubs, as he is the most easily tackled player we have, which is proven week after week! What is the international recognition he receives?
I don't need to wait for the stats either, but I am sure they will prove my point.
Anyway lets just agree to differ.
