| Well he was silent for about 10 seconds after the first question. He seemed to be struggling to find an answer. He made the usual injury excuses and the players they lost at half time, toward the end he said that the way Warrington went through you though was too easy. He seems to be near the end of his tether.

| Felt for him tonight. At one point during the game the sky camera focused on him and he looked very disturbed and seemed to be weirdly twitching.

| We are now dead set on our own last with an awful points difference. 2 points below Huddersfield who are on the up. 3 points from Hull KR.Looking like bottom is nailed on.

| He did seem geuinely lost for words, he must by now know his days are numbered. What es me off is that he can't saying anything more constructive about what he is tryout to do to address things. It's the same statement every week.

| B McD's post match interview was alarming...The man could hardly speak being close to tears. It's the first time I've felt sorry for a rival coach. For the sake of his health he should stand down.

| I have no sympathy for this buffoon at all. Had he not been the arrogant individual he is, he would have had the decency to do the right thing weeks ago. His stubborn arrogance knows no bounds, and he deserves everything he gets.
I have sympathy for us fans that yet again travel into that crappy county over the Pennines to see another lambs to the slaughter display. Stick a fork in McDetmott, he's done.

| This was the first post-match interview I've seen from him that I really got the impression that he's lost control of the situation. Granted, he's not shown much evidence in the last few weeks that he knows what to do and has a plan to turn things around - but this time he seemed genuinely broken, angry, and unbalanced as well.
I've lost faith that he is able to turn the club around in the time available to prevent Leeds from being sucked into the million pound game... There are no easy points on offer for Leeds in the rest of the regular season.
Hopefully GH has some contingency plans available for this situation. I don't believe that when the email was sent a few weeks ago he imagined that things would sink to their present level. A quiet word to McDermott asking him to fall on his sword with dignity is probably the best solution, followed by either an interim coach in the Brian Smith mould, or a quality permanent replacement if available.
I know Warrington away wasn't a realistic proposition anyway, but the manner of the second half capitulation and some of the defence throughout the game shows that there is no evidence of any substantial improvement underway. The injuries are disruptive but the team we had out should have fared much better than it did. I've been patient with the situation up to now but the club cannot afford to ignore the reality of our predicament for much longer. I've backed McDermott since our Wembley defeat to Wigan in his first season in charge. I still like the guy and thank him for all the wonderful success he has brought the club, but I think it is time for a change now.
Well, that's my opinion - like the rest of our fans I'll just have to patiently watch as the club try to change its fortunes.

It's clearly time for McDermott to go, but I can't see why you call him 'arrogant'. He comes over as a a humble man to me. I can remember his comments after Wire smashed you in the Challenge Cup final in 2012, and last night was similar, he's clearly deeply affected.
Perhaps you'd also like to post your equally perspicasious review of the fine county of Cheshire on Trip Advisor?

You obviously haven't seen some of his press conferences!!
BTW I love Cheshire - especially Chester.

| From an outsiders perspective BM comes across as morose and negative. Your team needs some energy and for the players to play with no fear. It looks like nobody really wants to step up and make a name for themselves as like i said their is a fear of failure. It seems some of the "kids" are not up to the required standard and your signings have been VERY POOR. Still i reckon when you get Moon back in the team you will improve significantly.......what a player he is.

Moon will at least allow Keinhorst to move into the second row and improve the defence.....but I can hardly see it being something to "improve significantly" ..
There are much bigger problems....getting worse with no time to stop the rot of competing in the middle 8's from rock bottom position. At the moment I cannot even see many wins here either.

| I'm sorry but I have to challenge some of the utter nonsense on this board.
First off, I have been an admirer of McDermott in the past and even through the difficult early stages, though I agree it's time for a change as there is not sign of progression over such a long period. As McDermott alluded to the 17 available should be producing more and regardless of results you need to be getting the best out of them more often than not.
That said, I really don't know what people are expecting of his interviews/press conferences, though at times scathing of the performance (and sometimes not enough in the fans eyes) he's always dignified in his responses and pretty honest. We can all accept he's probably had his time but to call him arrogant for not stepping aside after half a season (albeit a dreadful one) if you weren't producing in your job would you just step aside into unemployment. Fair enough have an opinion but questioning peoples character unjustly is pretty low.
For a man that clearly cares so much, regardless of whether hes performing, hes holding himself together in the interviews pretty well in the circumstances.

Maybe i am too big a Moon supporter but I think his elusive dynamic style will add a massive edge to your attack. The attacking side of your play this year has been awful when i have seen you on sky it has looked so disorganised. What would you think to the possibility of Kevin Sinfield coming back to get them out of this hole?

Regardless of what the players may think of McDermott, they're cheating us fans and the shirt with the tripe they serve up every week. They seem content to be laughing stock
