Looked like ACL trashed. Hope he makes a full recovery

That looked really really bad, hope he makes a full recovery. Why do these cruciate knee ligament injuries always seem to happen to the young ones?

Only in Rugby League would anything like this happen, fans of our BIGGEST RIVALS opening a thread to wish one of our guys a full and speedy recovery, massive respect to you all.

Could you imagine this happening on football forums?? Thought not!

My misses who knows sack all about rugby asked "is he faking it like they do in football ?" to which my reply was
"No babe, if they stay down they are usually hurt quite bad these are 'proper' men"

For anyone who didn't see it it was one of those injuries that makes you wince just seeing it . His leg just went from underneath him when he was changing direction . It folded at a very unnatural angle , and kinda flopped about like it was broken .
Respect to the Wire fans for clapping him off the field . Only saw one or two dancing as the stretcher was carried off .

Leeds fans who have posted on this thread - true fans of the game all - I salute you.

I'm certain you would do the same if it was one of ours . All the best to the lad . Hope to see him back in action soon .

Cruciate damage by the looks of it. Hope he has a speedy recovery.

It certainly looked a bad one, and I hope it's only the lad's season which is spoiled as he looks a cracking prospect.

Watkins and now this further good young lad. It's a hell of a game. As with Watkins, I wish him well and a FULL recovery: such a crippling awful injury so early in his career.

I'm no doctor but to me that was snapped cruciate and possible medial ligament as well, really was a horrible, awkward scene. Here's hoping it's not as bad as it looked, and for a speedy recovery.

I still haven't forgiven you for the potential knee ligament damage you helped to give me at the weekend!

Sometimes and hopyfully this is the case when jumping and landing on one leg and pushing off at the same time the ligaments over stretched and "twang" back.

I have seen this happen on a number of occassions and whilst painful so long as their is no rupture or tearing there is usually a full recovery.

Heres hoping for the best for the lad.

His knee looked to "twang" on the replay, wasn't pleasent to watch again

I thought it was the ankle that went. Looked nasty to me, and you could tell he was in real pain

Maybe I should be a doctor. Poor lad, full knee reconstruction I'm guessing. Still, it's probably not career threatening like it would have been 10-15 years ago though.
