The population in this country would divide into a few thousand hard core RL fans who would happily go to Wembley or wherever to see it, a few thousand Aussie backpackers who might watch it and several million who either couldn't care less or wouldn't care enough to actually fork out to go and see it. It would be, at best, as well attended as a GB test match. I doubt you'd sell out Elland Road, or any other credible venue. In short, it would be a disaster and I would see no reason to leave the big crowds and stadia of Aus behind for the purpose.

Meh, I can understand it may be a high standard of rugby but the game means nothing to me. No emotional attachment, I don't harbor any desires to be an Aussie and don't cream myself over their game

If it took very little effort and cost very little I might go but as I don;t even bring myself to watch the games on TV then it's a big meh from me.

I'd watch it on TV pretty much as I do now so it'd make little difference to me if it was played over here unless it was played at Sincil Bank.

its just sour grapes from some of the neg mis sods in england . you could use origin . too pump up more fans . get war of the roses back . play 2 games at the same venue . like wembley . when the fans see the brutal warfare like SOO they will go crazy for it . all the players will want too play at wembley on this day . pump them up aswell . if its done right it could turn out too be 1 of the greatest rugby league days of the year .if we could get 2 games played at wembley . same day . the fans would go crazy
