In the interview McDermott indicates Stevie ward and bailey will miss out.

Wire looked pretty good last week. Pity we couldn't get this out of the way a few weeks ago while they were still s***e.

I still think we could get a result there tonight, but it'll be a tough game.

Surely we have to start Singleton. He looks so much a better player starting games then coming off the bench. He gets at foothold in the game much quicker going that route.

I would bring Bailey back in, as regardless of his faults, I do think we need a toughness about us to get a result at Warrington.

Not sure I'd start Singleton, but he'd be my first interchange prop when Kylie goes off, rather than the player who comes on after 50 odd minutes. I'd have Kirke ahead of Bailey at the moment. And I'd have Clarkson and Delaney ahead of him to play as a third prop at loose as well. I'd pick him against Leigh

Delaney and Bailey miss out.

Here we go again. Two previous defeats this year both have player pulling out late with illness. Delaney this time. Wonder if change of result.

Shouldn't effect the balance (in the pivots) like the other ones did though. Aiton ruled out at Saints so Burrow does the full 80. Watkins ruled out vs Wigan and Sutcliffe plays centre when he was needed to go to the halves when Sinfield inevitably moved to 9.

This is more straight forward in terms of selection and tactics.......what it mostly is though, is a great opportunity for Chris Clarkson to really put his hand up as being more than just a squad member like what was being discussed on the Clarkson thread.

The Wire bench is interesting though, they've gone with both a hooker and a halfback on the bench (Higham and Myler), this might leave them short in the forwards. Asotasi (who hasn't really shone their so far) and Ben Evans complete the bench.

If we make their starting forwards work hard early on we might reap the rewards in the final 20 minutes.

By which time at this rate we could be 30 behind. Worst half this season by a long way

Massive improvement required and we need to find some forwards this 2nd half otherwise it could get messy

We need to find some halfs, completely anonymous. Not just down to the forwards, the halfs can not make that their excuse.

Very sloppy defence tonight something like 27 missed tackles in first half. For me first two try's came from sloppy kirke defence.

Good tackle back by ablett in the dying minutes of 1st half though

I agree with the defence being sloppy but I don't agree with singling anybody out tonight. The whole team has been poor from 1-13!

We win in big games and emphasize the team effort. We should critisise the team in the same way for an abysmal performance tonight!

Agree the team were/are poor tonight I just spotted the poor kirke defence after someone (cannot remember who) mentioned his good defence and I was particulary watching him.

While we are on it the ref is poor, but we already knew that. Worst ref on the roster for me

I don't normally defend refs (especially Childs) but I think he's had a decent game. Yeah we haven't got any of the 50/50 calls tonight but we can't base tonights loss on that basis.
