Mistakes happen, some more pronounced than others. After all the good work chanting and singing and backing the players last night coming on here and wildly slagging people off does you a disservice Lawrie.

From how I saw it, he was 1 on 1 with Randall, and was easily powered through. Poor effort. But the Webb mistakes or poor plays haven't mounted at all like Donalds to be fair. And Webb's still getting match sharp from a serious injury.

Sorry but some slagging off Bent Webb if he plays for their team is a bit of a culture shock for me. Maybe I need to get out more..

in fairness he looks a shadow of the player we've seen in the past, i hope its a confidence thing rather then a loss of speed/movement/etc

It was needed but really shouldn't have been.

I have consistently said that Webb will never be the same player. A spinal injury is very serious indeed for an elite sportsman especially in a high contact/collision sport.

However TVOC appears to have stats that support an alternative view - you only have to watch him to see his mobility isn't what it was - he had a shocker on Friday it happens but don't expect the Webb of 2007 anytime soon

Lets not get carried away with what I posted, those stats were just his metres per match since his return from injury which (at the time, prior to the Salford game) appeared to indicate an increased involvement game by game. Unfortunately the Salford and Huddersfield game stats were updated as one on the SL website so I've had to average the two games and the average is half the metres he made on Good Friday.

The stats were only posted to show a week on week improvement (to that point) which could be interpreted as a gradual return to former levels.... perhaps.
