If any club has to learn that sacking your coach after a slightly bad run then it has to be Wigan.They should stick with him at least to the end of the season because we all know that when bringing a new coach in it will bring upheaval and thats the last thing Wigan want

To be fair though it's not like he has only been there a matter of months. At the start of the season I said the same as you but Wigan have decent enough players to compete yet they cant under Noble for some reason. Leeds had 3 big players out tonight and Wigan still couldnt get near.

Doubt it but if he was to be sacked who would Wigan go for?

I hope he stays it's good to hear how he's hoping to keep his "horses healthy" and what his plans are for putting "humpty together again"

He was brought in to save them from relegation and, to his credit, he did that - even if he was helped by some not-so-clever accounting.

I will go on record now as saying Wigan will be close to Grand Final this year.

He has been their a good time and still does not appear to have turned them into true contenders. This season lucky win over London, beat a poor Northern and lost the other four. Does not sound like GF form. If the rumours are correct does not get on with the owner, and again if rumours are to be believed their is soon to be a vacancey at his old beloved Northern. Mind you they are broke and would he want to go.

I don't particularly like the way Noble's teams play, but he does have a habit of getting them playing well later in the season. When he arrived, Wigan were in line for relegation and they did cheat to stay up, but the last 2 season's they have been 1 game from the GF. Hardly worthy of the sack IMO.

I can't see why they'd sack him at this stage. He's started badly with teams before, even winning a grand final from a very poor start. However if there are issues between him and the Chairman, then history in any sport will indicate it ain't going to work. Who would they bring in to replace him?

Noble had them training this morning. He decided on the training ground to convey his message by using the "water bottles" method he used so well at half time at Odsal two years ago when they came back from the dead and beat the Bulls by a point.

Carefully he placed out the water bottles on the pitch to explain his tactics. I came away twenty minutes later - the bottle were winning thirty points to nil!

With there being no relegation for three years, I dont think they will sack him. But then again, I might just be proved wrong.....

No one. Theres no point in sacking Noble at this stage, as other posters have alluded to he has taken them to within 1 game of the grand final twice. IF and i do mean IF they are to get shot i would say it would be at the end of the season, isnt his contract up then?
