well even having not seen the game i can safely say those stats are way off the mark

no way can the immobile, work-shy Bartercard reject Kylie Leuluai have only been shaded in total distance gained by man-machine Jamie Peacock by only three metres and have scored a perfect 100% in tackle efficiency

It was Peacock's equivalent of a game off last week. I've noticed his metres are always down when there are few goal line drop outs. At Hull there was just the one and IIRC Leuluai nutted Peacock in backplay and stole the cheap metres for himself.



The penalty count is correct at 6 - 6 overall, (although 4 - 1 to Leeds in the first half where we looked in serious danger of actually winning a count.)

Suprised at the meters gained. Thought it would be a lot more than that. Although we did spend a large part of the second half in our own half.

The missed tackles for the whole team really is an unacceptable figure a this level and should be addressed.

Other than the missed tackles, Burgess put in a better stint than it appeared at the game.

JJB topped the Leeds missed tackle count (along with Gibson) this week so just proves OPTA read your comments on this board and act accordingly.

Been absolutely serious, he misses many tackles every week. And IMO is the most luckiest player around for not conceeding with the lying on. He seems to take an age to get off players.

However, he puts in an all action display, that we would miss without him, and I think that lets the missed tackles and things be accepted.

The try assist stat isn't as credible as it should be with questionable calls most weeks. Whilst Burrow has been given an assist this week Sinfield still had a man to beat (which in the past has been enough to prevent it qualifying as an assist.) Jones-Buchanan to Webb at Murrayfield Magic being one such similar effort that was denied an assist.

I think the OPTA guy in charge of Try Assists left early. I usually end up having a b[iitc[/ih about him every week.

I'd have thought applying whatever the criteria is consistently within a game and from week to week would be fairly important but you'd be surprised how random some of the decisions appear.

The referees must have the final decision then.
