Lilley is average and he can't continue to be kicker. Admit hard to judge him in a team with no forwards.

Thought Galloway, and Lilley were our best. I also thought Walters, and Keinhorst were good, it's a shame Keinhorst doesn't have that a yard or 2 of extra pace to take his game to the next level.

There was a point in the second half where Keinhorst - the left centre - had to come crashing in to make a tackle in the centre of the pitch.

He then went 30 yards laterally to be second man in to the next tackle while players inside him looked on and watched.

Sums him - and some of his teammates - up at the moment.

Agree he's not a super star and never will be (thanks to pace). Galloway is def putting in a stint now. No idea what we can do to toughen up the channels where we have been so week in the last couple of years and are even weaker now.

We need some grafters and people who'll stay out of the limelight and put their bodies on the line. More JJB and Ellis from a few years ago. Hopefully Leeds being complete underdogs next season might help that. Just need to keep in SL this season which should be relatively easy but if we're in middle 8's we'll be everyone's cup final.

Keinhorst has been one of the best if not the best player in our team this season! Lilley has played out of his skin most games too

Agree re Jimmy - he may never be a superstar but there aren't too many around at the moment in the whole of SL. I'm just happy he regularly gives us something positive to talk about.

Not so hot from Lilley yesterday, but he's having a good season all things considered, so let's not scrap him too soon, eh?

Not a chance. You can look good when people are poor around you, but thirteen of the same will show you for what you are. Keinhorst has put his body on the line, and played with energy others are lacking, but the very same performances in last years team would have received nothing of the same plaudits. You can only carry so many players with limited skill, and that role in a challenging team he would fulfill very well, needed even, but we need to reduce the numbers first.

I kept finding myself shouting the plaudits last night, and heard what others were saying, then I thought about it last night and have just seen the stats, expectations of Watkins are much higher, and rightly so, but you put another Keinhorst in his role and we would be worse off. Yet everyone, and me included, is moaning about Watkins.

Obviously I didn't mean literally, but he seems to be doing well. I think most of our problems are rooted in a soft middle defense. We make a reasonable high first contact, we get 3 or 4 men in the tackle no one on the legs and get carried 10m, and then concede a quick playy the ball with retreating players.

Keinhorst is actually one of our better defenders, and his tackles stick. A middle unit with a few more keinhorsts would certainly do better

Nearly. He said centre, but still said it. And still don't think he would have been anything close with a different coach. However, that said one thing I will never do is bag a player showing such heart and dedication to his team, and he has shown that in abundance.

I confess to saying Keinhorst wouldn't make it as a SL player probably around the time he was shunted off for a stint at Hunslet on DR i thought that was more than likely to be his level. To be fair, he didn't look much before that stint.

But Keinhorst didn't throw his toys out of the pram like others have. He went away, worked on his game and was determined to take his chance if one came again which he did with both hands last year. I'm really happy for him, and it's no surprise at all to see him as one of the few right now performing at a decent level and putting his hand up and showing some real back bone.He may lack the natural talent of most of his esteemed team mates, but he makes up for that with mental attitude and application in spades.

Who are these? Amor, Gale, McShane, Hood, Baldwinson?....Personally I wouldn't accuse any of them of throwing their toys, considering the selection decisions made.

I wish Walters, Achurch - and quite a few others at the moment - would throw their toys, prams and anything else they can put their hands on in McDermott's direction.

See no reason that Keinhorst would be firmly in the 17 when everyone is fit, he is quite skillful for a second rower and can handle the defensive work

Nope..second row is his best position (and he should be considered a starting second rower now). He gets exposed on his lack of pace a little too much in the centre position. He is our Ablett MK2.

I wouldn't like to specifically name names as i aren't privy to any goings on directly and would never claim to be, but its clear some who have moved on didn't have the stomach for the fight or to stick around long enough to prove themselves good enough in the long run like Keinhorst has. funny you should mention Amor, Gale and now McShane who have gone on to prove themselves as quality SL players elsewhere.What price Baldwinson doing the same?

There was no way that they could keep Gale at the time , possibly give you Amor although last season he got a fair bit of stick at times from the Saints fans . Mcshane has alot more to do yet before i am convinced , though saying that he is superior to Falloon but so would my Mum
