I think I'd give Ward the weekend off and start with Mellor, wards look great in the previous 2 friendlies not sure he'll gain much by playing at the weekend and there's always a risk of him getting injured

Is it possible to just make a 1 off payment for this match rather than paying for a full year.

Sadly, totally agree. Comparison to Wigan squad they are a long way ahead on pace, power and quality. They should be really challenging/winning pots this year.

To be fair I also agree, Wigan do look strong but who knows.

For me the comparison to the legends that played the last part of the game against Bradford shows how far we’ve fallen.

To be fair its an improvement on the last 2 years but whilst im all for giving our promising youngsters gametime the need for proven quality is thrre for all to see.
I also hoped Sinfield would have learned by now that signinghas beens & never will bes gets us nowhere.

But youve moved the goalposts slightly.

There's also a fair number of players from the 04-10 vintage that aren't in Batley's side that would still get picked ahead of their modern day counterparts.

Id rather look forward than back. No point harping on about old teams and players their time has been and gone.
