It will be interesting to see if JP can help Hull KR. His comments after the semi-final win about getting the players off the pitch instead of over-celebrating a semi-final victory were telling. The KR fans can look forward to better times, I think.

I suspect there may be a few at Hull KR who think they have what it takes to be top professional players, but are going to find out next year just how far short of the required mark they are.

I can see JP taking no prisoners and accepting no excuses - be interesting to see how he works with Chris Chester, who seems a bit of a deep thinker on the game and a little more introverted.

Again, only Elliott Minchella and Jordan Baldwinson will return next year I hear with Mason Tonks, Luke Briscoe, James Duckworth, Chris Clarkson, Thomas Minns, Alex Foster are being let go by the club.

looks like he's not the last player that's on hull KRs radar for next season. They are looking at another Leeds forward on loan for next season.

I've heard Singleton and Keinhorst aren't too happy at the moment, so possibly one of them?

Why would Keinhorst be not 'too happy' ? He has gone from being the forgotten man to being a regular and maybe even above Singleton in the pecking order...
as for Singleton he must recognise that even if he is not satisfied with his current pecking order position he will move up at least one place next season (2 props leaving to be replaced by one newcomer). Unless he feels under threat from Baldwinson too?

My money would be on Achurch.

Rovers will be wanting some front row insurance just in case Adam Walker ends up not being available for a chunk of the season.

Mulhern maybe? No point him going on DR to Hunslet next year if they are in Championship One, so a loan to a SL side would suit his needs and ours.

We will need Achurch now JJB is long term injured. He has shown he has the skills for the 2nd row but has been unfortunate with injuries. Time for him to step up.

Are Hull KR the new Wakey?

As far as I know, Keinhorst has been unhappy for a while, I assume it's to do with his relationship with BM. Singleton was told he wouldn't be in the squad for Wembley, but giving JJB's injury, he now will be. I'm not sure Singleton would move up in the pecking order, given the arrivals of Garbutt, Galloway and Mullaly, he'd probably stay the same.

I think everyone has forgotten about him since the Galloway announcement. I think it will be good for Mulhern to get a full season under his belt, in potentially, a Super League side.

It seems that if you're not a week in week out player, McDermott doesn't want to know. I know Clarkson hasn't even spoke to BM since the loan to Widnes.

Widnes wanted to sign him permanently but couldn't afford it, he was then told to look for a new club.

Even with JJB injury the second row is well catered for at present.

Makes me suspect they can't have wanted him that badly. Incidentally, I wonder how many other players' rejections have been explained to them in those terms? A fair few I'll bet.
