We'll be gearing up for the WCC, and Hull will want to make a good impression given their outlay on players. Plus, when they beat us for the first time in ten attempts last year, they somehow thought that it meant they were any good. I'm sure they'd love to feel like that again. Castleford will be the same as it is most years, I hope. Nice train ride, few beers, hammer 'em, come home.

When's Catalan away?

Catalan will be away more or less every other week, barring occasional rearrangements and knock-out competitions.

I'm already looking forward to my favorite away game of the season which is Catalan away, when Biff and the boys get their yearly pass from the girls to make the 5 day trip

I am waiting to see if I can get two home games in two weeks ,or maybe a home game and a home cc game.Then I'll book my trip

I hope it's around the Wigan game.

It was also seem that Leeds no longer have the free pass at Magic Weekend.

Whipping boy SL rabble



The only interest I have in the announcement of the 27 meaningless rounds of regular season fixtures is in working out which 11 games Leeds will lose (some deliberately) in order to finish 5th.

I expect them to lose 5 out 6 against the triumvirate of Warrington, Wigan and St Helens. That means they'll require 6 strategically deliberate losses against whipping boy SL rabble. Shouldn't be a problem as they've managed that feat for the past two seasons.

If they can deliberately lose during the Tragic Weekend in Manchester, it might make their job of finishing 5th a little easier than it has done previously. They've not quite managed a Tragic Weekend defeat yet, though it's not for the want of trying.

Have you heard something that hasn't been made public then?

There's a rumour that Leeds extra Tragic fixture might not be against whipping boy SL rabble. This has never happened before. Could benefit Leeds ambitions for finishing 5th if it turns out to be correct as it helps to establish a clearer and less suspicious path for that 5th spot.

It's not - and definitely their toughest assignment yet...

Saints away the week after the WCC isn't going to be pretty.
Wigan away in the final round.
Widnes at home mid-June in the rearranged fixture for the WCC.
Catalans away on Easter Monday followed by Warrington at home.

Also should you really be telling everyone when there is an embargo on such information?

I too am rather unhappy about that one. Catalans away is at a rubbish time of year, and that London one is just crap. A Monday night, away in the capital? Who the hell will go? Hotels won't even be cheap, as it's not a weekend.

The RFL bang on about trying to get the game going in the Capital yet they have placed one of the better supported teams visiting the Quins on a Monday night.

I'd love to know the reasoning behind it.

Leeds at Bronco's on a Mondy . Wigan and Wire games away to Bronco's are on the road trips . Looks like the RFL are trying to Bankrupt the Bronco's .

Early indications are that there is a very late train back to Leeds, leaving Kings Cross at 23.30, arriving about half one. Of course they could change the timetable before then, but at least it's an option.

Another thing I've just noticed is Huddersfield, Widnes and Warrington away are on consecutive weekends around the end of June.
