A big thanks to James Graham who's been a superb opponent over the last few years and has deserved greater rewards than he's enjoyed. Even fulfilled the role of pantomime villain for a while, not without some distinction. I, for one, hope he continues to rip it up in australia.

Yes, I too have a lot of respect for him. Along with Jamie Peacock, he's been the hardest working prop in the game for the past few years.

He's been a tremendous adversary over the years and definitly deserves a few more winners medals in his cabinet for the efforts he's put in.

Good luck to him down under, he's going to need plenty of sunscreen.

Lets be honest we'd have all had him at Leeds in a shot. I still remember him applauding me at headingley once. A few idiots were calling him a ginger c u next tuesday. I interjected with "Oi, he's not ginger, he's strawberry blonde". Bless his cotton socks

He's just the kind of front rower they like - high workrate, straight up and down the pitch.

I just hope for his sake that Canterbury don't think they've signed someone who's going to smash through tackles or hammer people in defence.

Good thread. I was off sharpish one the whistle went. How did Jammer handle himself? Any laps of honour? A strop for old times sake? Or an early exit?

He consoled tommy makinson who was in tears, shook hands with the leeds players then went to clap the saints fans.

FGB has always copped a load of flack but TBH I'd have had him in a Leeds shirt in the drop of a fart.

Top, top player. Also a fairly spiky competitor, of the type you love when he plays for your team and don't love so much when he plays for your rivals.

Over-worked by Saints for too long and to be honest probably in dire need of a break now. Doubt he'll do quite such long stints next year and may well be better for it.

I almost feel for him that he hasn't won more Grand Finals. As usual, few people gave more on Saturday in the cause of rugby. Immanol Harinordiquay aside.

He's a fantastic player and I hope he does very well down under. Just what you want from a modern prop and, of course, would have him at Leeds in a heartbeat.

Felt genuinely sorry for him at the end on Saturday, he hasn't deserved to be on the losing side in Grand Finals so often in his career.

Can only really echo what others have said. He's matured a lot over the last couple of years, and has been nothing short of excellent whenever I've seen him play. In fact I'd go so far as to say, I don't think I've ever seen him have a bad game. His ball handling skills are the best I've seen on a prop.

Best of luck to the lad, hope it's not the last I've seen of him in SL.

Great prop, excellent workrate and super hands. One of the best of SL era.

However, I'm old school a little bit I guess, but for me really great props have to be able to dish out some pain and intimidate. If I think of my favourite props they have all been able to scare the poop out of people when needed.
Peacock sometimes looks like a maniac, Barry Mac? Lee Crookes, kelvin Skerrett, Uncle Trevor, etc.

Fantastic player, a modern version of Lee Crooks. I hope he has a great time in the NRL.
