| is there even a rumour of leeds recruiting first team players for next season or is GH going to wait until the dregs are left or prices are ridiculous. This Eastwood mess is in danger of messing up two years worth of recruitment not just one.

| To be fair, Sydney released him and he's now injured pending a major operation. If Leeds had signed him there'd be more p*ss taking on here than usual for signing another crocked past it Aussie, and GH would no doubt be lambasted on here.
Besides, I'm more than happy if the rumours of Amor and Pitts comes to fruition, the right way to go if we can't produce them ourselves

| Im not bothered about Omeley but we do seem to be lagging behind most teams in terms of recruitment for next year. I think this eastwood mess has stymied our recruitment for next year. a quality threequarter is a must especially if senior moves into the pack

a fully fit & fully interested omeley would have been a nice signing, however anyone watching nrl this year will tell you nice of them statements are true.

| I am reminded of the time we signed Esene Faimalo and George Mann. At the same time Wigan signed two young, hungry lower league players - Terry O'Connor and Barrie McDermott.

| I think we'll have a thread entitled "Oh my god I can't believe we haven't signed xxxxxx" and have it on the front page on weekly rotation for the Playstation Super League Manager enthusiasts.

| I'm gutted Hull have signed another player who is injured. Do they have any brains at that club? They have underachiedved for the last two years in no small part due to a massive injury list (at least that's wht they like to tell everybody all the time) - so the answer - sign a worn out prop who is about to have a knee reconstruction. The word "Doh" doesn't even come close.
Why, oh why would anyone at Leeds be anything other than massively amused by this?

Knee reconstruction? Where have you heard that from? He's going for arthroscopic surgery on his knee, thats all we know.
Anyway, Mark O'Meley is a fantasic player. His impact in Hull remains to be seen and he has injuries elsewere that are a cause for concern, but he looks to be a good signing and was been chased by numerous Super League clubs apparently.

Not nessesarily. Have you seen the way our club is run?. Anyway, that type of surgery is often exploritory. Saying that, even it is a reconstruction, he is subject to a full medical prior to signing.

He will miss the last three months of the season - that doesn't sound too "exploratory" to me. And let's be honest, I wouldn't trust the Hull medical staff to change a nappy let alone assess the fitness of a new signing.

Yes we have, and that is why we find the cod-heads signing of shrek a bit of a gamble, hope you can afford to carry another injured player!

| Fantastic player who has really lifted the Roosters to the heights of the game despite having only one functional leg and alledgedly on the raz 7 days a week.
Yes another top quality signing by the useless, making up the numbers, chav intergrated slum on the edge of Yorkshire.

| His best days were at the Bulldogs and since he's moved to the Roosters he hasn't been the same player (the same as Willie Mason).
I think the Roosters will be happy to be getting rid as he hasn't always made the team when fit this year anyway and he'll be on big money. Glad we haven't signed him anyway. Think Fitzbibbon will be a good signing although i'm not sure how long they'll get out of him, Crocker would've been better.

| O'Mealy is average, Hull will probably be paying him a fortune, I much prefer they way we seem to be looking at recruiting TBH, quality young kids with stacks of potential are far better signings than over the hill NRL players who not only cant get into the first grade team they are also injured.

| One leg or two, o'mealey will make a fantastic play mate for sean long, they'll be able to have a couple of hours treatment together while the boozers open.
The salary cap must be squeezing at the KC.

Is your definition of average is a player that has played 15 times for the best RL nation in the world for he past 30+ years and 10 times in the so called best and toughest competition anywhere in the world in state of origin?
The Ogre is wayyyy above average.
