| Right; so in my opinion we we're beaten by the better team last night. We dropped off tackles, Markers on the whole didnt work hard, we played alot of one man rugby, had no attacking kicking game etc etc etc. Full Credit to Harlequins. But there we're still some positives in my opinion:
Ryan Hall-Made 2 try saving tackles and had another solid game. May not be the most elaborate player but always works hard and doesn't (Unlinke some seem to) take his place in the 17 for granted. Coming along nicely.
Scotty Donald-Had a better game tonight. Nothing outstanding but took a couple more balls on the full, had one of his old style breaks down the wing which we havent seen in a while. Hopefully this will bring more confidence and he will get back to the form that won him his dream team place.
Saints Lost Im not one of these that hates Bradford and wants em to lose all the time, im hoping they get back up there so this was good in terms of them winning but also in terms of saints losing. If they'd have won, they'd have been 6 points ahead of us....but there not; so that don't matter.
I appreciate Leeds have alot to work on and we're shockingly dissappointing but I like to highlight positives when some of the doom merchants get posting on here. Hopefully Leeds will get back to winning ways at Edingburgh.
On a seperate point Ryan Bailey....Copped it in the chops in the first half and we didnt see him again. Was holding his right cheek area from what I could see?Hope he is alright anyone got any news?

| Ryan Hall ran himself in to the floor last night and was solid in the defencive line.
Scotty was 300 percent better than last week and seems to be regaining his confidence.
The bandwagon left the ground with 10 minutes left on the colck

| Buderus tackled his booty off last night. Put him down as one of the triers at least. Hall was probably our MOTM, and not for the 1st time this season.

Kylie looks to have lost some serious bulk and he seems the victim of a change in training methods aimed an making Leeds a lighweight quick unit, which makes the 20 mins stint even more puzzling.
Its very similar to that of Tony Smith in 2006 when he copied the West Tigers who had just one the NRL comp.

Maybe that and the rumour he has had his head turned by Wigan, I also aren't sure Bluey has the fogiest idea how to utilise the players he has.

1 poor pass I can remember.
The thing is we look a lot more dangerous once he enters the action. His passes are in front of the man giving us an extra half second to do something whereas Diskins are usualy fired into the chest (thats not a critisism btw as most players over here do that).

| Have to echo what has been said, Burderus is looking better with every game.
Surely he should be in line for a start.

| For catalan's i think we should go with..
Webb
Donald
Gibson
Senior
Hall
Mcguire
Burrow
Kirke
Buderus
Peacock
Jjb
Ali
Sinfield
Burgess
Worrall
Kylie/bailey
Mcshane
I personally think diskin and ablett need a rest/dropping and it's a toss up for me who misse's out between kylie and bailey.
I thought kirke did well at prop v giant's who like the catalans have a big pack.
I'd also start with Ali to give us more threat and hopefully momentum early rather than hoping he can change it from the bench.
I know other's could be dropped/rested but that's what i'd go with.

| Buderus, JP and Kirke, and Donald to some extent.
The first three worked their balls off.
Wilsons Pie and Peas were again fantastic, and it was all down hill from there.
Quins have plenty of positives, possibly the most solidest centre pairing in Super League. The envy.

| Buderus was our best last night IMO. Now he is regaining full fitness he is starting to show the form we know he is capable of.
Regarding Kylie. He is suffering more than most from only having a 3/4 week pre season due to the world cup. A player who even when fully fit is not capable of long stints like Peacock,he is really suffering this year. Last night he did 11 mins in the 1st half and 14 in the 2nd. Thats putting added pressure on the rest of the pack who also look jaded. I think this will improve as the season goes on.
Keep the faith

| Buderus was MOM for me. Donald's length of the field scamper shows he still has the pace and hopefully will be a much needed confidence boost.
Webb was steady enough and Hall is showing some good form and attitude, and that was about it for last night.
I thought the Quins defence was excellent, their line was ruler straight and they all stepped up as one.

Taking the ball back into the ruck time after time?
I think the mileage is beginning to show and its time for Peacock to get a well deserved rest..............shame we don't have the points in the bag to allow it!

I'm a tad concerned that this year will be a repeat of 2006 for Peacock - carrying the pack for most of the year and so running out of steam towards the back end.

I really don't understand this, The St Helens players look a lot bigger physically than most of the Rhinos players and come out on top when it comes to go forward, Maybe the Lightweight is to enable us to be fresh and peak at the back end of the season...
