'Bluey' has some tremendous young talent to work with at the Warriors - Maloney, Johnson, Locke, Matulino, Taylor as well as the more established Vatuvei, Mannering, Rapira, Mateo and Inu - so we'll see if he can cut it in the NRL. I think he'll fare better than 'happy Frank' Endacott or John Monie did there.
For me, he did everything that could have been asked of him at Leeds - apart from the Wembley disaster.
The issue - as ever - with the Warriors isn't about the quality of the players they have. Its about not making stupid mistakes early in the tackle count and in bad field position, and not going to sleep (sometimes in both attack and defence) for 10-15 minutes in virtually every game. If Bluey or anyone else can solve those problems, they have every chance of winning the competition.
