Quote ="batleyrhino"how much is the cap in NFL? I mean 30MUSD is a lot, but is it a big percentage or just 1 player?'"
The team I follow gave 1 player a contract worth $100 million. It was over 7 years. For cap reason's he's already "earned" about $34 million in the 1st two years. I used quotation marks because he's been a huge bust and barely played last year due to suspensions, team disciplinary reasons etc.
Luckily, the Redkins owner is so wealthy he makes Paul Caddick look like Del Trotter.
The player's earn anywhere from £20 million a year down to $350,000 a year.
The cap has evened up the competition in the NFL between the teams but it hasn't distributed the money evenly between the players in any way shape or form. the top 10% get mega contracts and the rest get the crumbs.
