Quote ="Jonesy's a Legend"just watched the game back on a sky recording for the first time, and as all the wigan fans are being pedantic on here and every other available fans forum about which side was shafted and why?
then please take a look at wigan's first try on 2 minutes 39 seconds!
prior to the cross field kick to the corner, farrell clearly moves well away from the "mark" at the play the ball!
in the letter of the law should that try have been sent upstairs for the video ref to have a look at?
either way i've seen em chalked off for this self same reason?
views/opinions off this incident please'"
You are right. Certain teams appear to be coached to step forward before they PTB. For Wigan the main cuprits are O'L, Richards, both Tomkins and Fielden who regularly win penalties as they move forward off the mark with arms outstretched into the retreating tackler who is then accused of obstruction. Fielden & co also have the annoying habit of still having their hands on or pushing the attacking player who is trying to PTB for which they are never penalised. Another form of cheating which Wigan have perfected.
