It was a stupid decision to allow home-town refs to officiate at their clubs games.
Ganson is the best ref we have at the moment BUT the pressure he must be under must be immense. Any 50/50 calls he gives to Saints will be put under intense scrutiny and in a potentially heated encounter he could easily make matters worse.
