I'm sorry if I offend anyone with what I am about to say but does anyone else think Chase has gone completely off the boil? I thought again today, another very average performance and Danny Orr, for me, showed him how to play today

Perhaps all the bad publicity re the Ropati incident has got to him and is affecting his game.

I think the 6 week lay off and the fact he's surrounded by dross is a bigger factor.

Speaking of Ropati - he looked fine and was talking a lot during the Fev v Pia game.

It was clear Salford decided Chase was the man to stop, they did just that but forgot about super Danny. #Team game.

He was quiet today, overdid it on occasions with the jinxing down blind alleys, when he ran more direct in the last few minutes he made more progress.

Salford did a right job on him but forgot about the other players.

Put up some beautiful kicks today, though. We should use the high bomb more often.

For me, Chase was one of the only players to gain any credit from the bradford game. Glad Danny Orr did well, so he should, we're a team.

Salford spent so much time closing Chase down that they forgot about Orr and McGoldrick. Simples.

Have to agree with you there Fully, thought Salford had him sussed. Another outstanding effort from Danny Orr, Chubs, and McGoldrick though and at the end of the day that was the difference.

Hopefully this will go some way to stop teams seeng us as a "one man team". Close down Rangi by all accounts but don't forget about Danny, McGoldrick, etc.

I just came on to check if what a mate of mine told me was a proper rumour. He seems to think Chase is on his way to Wigan and McGoldrick could be leaving too.
Few others have obviously heard this too.

This came from quite a reputable source who has contacts within the club at Cas, but I hope he isn't going to the Pies!! I'd love him at Leeds, but that ain't gonna happen.

That's funny because all my contacts have flatly denied the Chase rumour and have all said that he has not approached them and asked to leave.

Don't think Chase is going anywhere for at least 2 years. He's contracted to Cas and on a massive wage. He is obviously as frustrated at the lack of quality in the team as are the fans. Next seasons signings will be massive for the future of the club. Poor signings and alot of the fanbase will drift away along with the few stars we have (Chase, Clark). Shenton is a good start, but the next 4 are massive

Interesting that you say he would fit the bill at Wigan as many of our fans (Wigan) think that he wont fit into our structures ect.. but really there's only one way were all going to find out, I wouldn't mind seeing him at Wigan next year though if its possible.

That must have been in the last couple of days then, unless they've got muddled up with Warrington's rejected bid for Clark...and seems it's the Sun I'll take the latter.

It would have to be £500k at least. He has 3 years left on his contract after this year. Might explain his lack of interest in the last game. Hoping to force Cas to sell. Hopefully they'll hold out for the big bucks. Personally I don't think he'd be a good fit at Wigan. They've already got Tomkins to outshine him. At Hull with his mate Westerman, if they can stay out of the bars, would be a better fit for him.
