Judging by the players recent comments on Twitter, neither are planning a further season at Cas. Youngquest, when asked about a potential new contract by a fan simply replied with 'I won't be staying'. McGoldrick also when replying to a fan about possibly leaving Cas at the end of this season said 'all good things must come to and end' and that he has 'no idea' about where he will move to but 'que Serra' (his spelling not mine!). Obviously this is nothing official but certainly gives a good indicator of their plans.

The sooner McGoldrick goes the better, he can leave tomorrow for all I care - addition by subtraction right there.

He certainly has been on to a good thing at Cas, and perhaps overstayed it by 2 or 3 years as well.

Youngquest is a good quality winger, end of story. Anyone who picks out a handful of mistakes isn't watching the whole game.
Not easy to replace specialist wingers, it's easy to stick someone on the wing as we are seeing this season, but specialist wing play is different. You could argue that the ball-bounce try against Wakey wasn't actually Youngy's fault it was the player who had switched off and wasn't alert to the kick and Nicks shouts to drop back, Youngy was caught between filling his gap in the line and not leaving a 2 overlap and dropping for the kick.

McGoldrick, well I like the bloke, so I guess I declare an interest in that way - but next season is we sign a specialist Centre pairing and full back most posters will be pleased that he is gone - but at Easter when we need a fill in at Full Back or Half, or Centre, then I think his contribution will be seen differently. To even be able to be average at SuperLeague level at one position is tough for most players - but 3 or 4, well time will tell. I think he has it in his locker to command a 2 year contract at SuperLeague level and if someone managed that situation well and gave him a single brief and he has enough experience around him to run a playbook - he will go well and with our best wishes.

Can't blame Youngquest after the abuse he's been getting from Cas fans on twitter.

Will be sad to see Youngquest go if this is true. Much as I am not keen on McGoldrick, you can't fault the bloke for his loyalty to the club. He just gives too many daft penalties away but he isn't on his own in that department!

Youngquest - I rate him. Fast and does more than his fair share of work. Been caught out a few times with the high ball. Gets drawn in to too much on twitter. Would love to have him back next year.

Goldie - Always been a fan. Been a good servant to the club and played wherever asked and alot of the time through injury. All the best for the future and thanks for the 7 years in a Cas shirt.

I like Youngquest for his playing ability but he does have a negative impact on the club with his twitter stuff and gestures towards the fans.

Same here mate but if we are having a clear out we might as well have a good one

I heard Youngquest off to New York. Don't know whether there's a NY team or whether he's having change of career. Also don't know how much truth in it.

I think his girlfriend is a New Yorker and he does his modelling over there.

Would really have like him to stay but hey ho .....If he wants to go let him ,same with anybody else who 'wants ' to go , ATEOTD My club is and always will be bigger than individual players no matter who they are !! Just an opinion
