how was that even a try when the leeds player defo knocked on and yet the vidioe looked at the screen once i never saw it go backwards how could of it possible of been a try and what are these bloody touch judges even used for

It was definitely a knock on. The ref said it went back so he played on. Having second thoughts when Leeds scored he referred it to the video ref who obviously ruled no knock-on because he wanted to back the ref's original decision. Everyone in the studio said that it was a knock-on and Wells said the same at half-time. They are not usually unaminous because they like a bit of an argument.
A crucial decision was when Danny Orr was stripped of the ball and didn't get the penalty. Cas were only 4 points behind and the penalty would have put them on the Leeds' 20m line.

Lets not forget Ryan Hall being short for his first try too

They are a law unto themselves and how they didn't see what others saw is strange.

The easiest decision of the night was Chases forward pass for the 1st Cas try, but as we all know if it's only slightly forward it's OK. Stop moaning, the best team won.

Might be wrong but i don't think that the video referee can judge on forward passes. Sounds crazy but it's been like that for a number of years. Still, if we are using technology for judgement on tries then we should look at everything

I agree the better team won but it doesn't excuse an appalling video ref decision.

You are correct Phil Stone, the video ref cannot rule on forward passes, but because the ball hit the ground, it makes it a knock on, which the video ref can currently call!

I dont see why the video ref cannot make a call on forward passes as imsick of seei g so many passes creeping into the game i currently dont see the point in having touch judges because they are all bloody useless yes i know pot calling kettle black leeds fan complaining about forward passes when we have. Brent 'forward pass' webb but maybe toughening up on them will stop them creeping further into our game

You can't judge the direction of a pass based on a camera angle and we've seen many cases of passes looking forward on camera that have actually been fine from another angle. I think Leeds first try in the second half last Friday proved why the video replay shouldn't be used to judge forward passes though. I was stood bang in line with it and have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that the pass was getting on for being 2m forward, yet on all the camera angles available (none in line) it looked ok. Unfortunately the touch judge wasn't in the correct position either and would've been unable to award it.
