So the pieces of the jigsaw finally start slipping into place. Probiz become the major sponsor of Featherstone Rovers, their CEO Simon Riley suddenly decides to leave (very strange in the circumstances) and the announcement is made that Craig Poskitt is to become the new CEO.

Been wondering why we haven't seen or heard a great deal from our friend Faisel, have we seen the last of him now his big buddie Craig has flown the nest?

Can't see where anything had been announced officially, other than Mr Nosey Parker which we all know how accurate this is! If true I would be very surprised and they must of made an offer he couldn't refuse.

I know Fev have big ambitions and good luck to them but that would be a big gamble and I know that the rumour cogs will start to turn!!

A developed P.O Road, a strong business plan and all the boxes ticked on the field.
I expect them to be hard to overlook next time licence applications are submitted.
They are fast becoming a very good outfit, and one I have huge respect for.

It's the RFL, they will make it easy for them to be overlooked, and there's 2 obvious reasons as to why they will.

One is called Castleford the other is Wakefield.

If we don't deliver the goods on the stadium front, those 2 reasons could promptly disapate!!

cas probably have the lowest commercial income of any superleague club . Hardly a big deal that the bloke who has been in charge of this area is leaving .......no offence !

Hopefully cas will get someone in who can make sure the club can start to spend nearer the salary cap !

I think it was CP who introduced FN to RL with Cas. The PROBIZ brand then went to Halifax and Wigan and also last years sponsorship of the WCC.

Craig has done a great job at CT.

but he is replacable like anyone else in business. Cas Tigers will miss his business links but will get someone else in who can carry on his good work to the next level.

What makes you say that? I'm just interested, really. I've heard lots of claims about 'record sponsorhips' but seen no evidence of this on the field in terms of better players, or indeed in the club's published accounts? Maybe CP is great at blowing his own trumpet but in reality there seems to have been no improvement during his time at the club.
Oh, and I won't miss his use of social media to make claims of 'big news' to then find it's a new under-arm shirt sponsor!

They were Halifax's sponsor before they sponsored Cas.

In fact if it wasn't for Metrel pulling out PROBIZ would never have got involved with Cas.

probiz picked up a very cheap sponsorship deal last year to "cover up" a real mess that was made with the original deal. metrels logo was branded on the club shirts despite not having completed the deal and probiz got a cheapy , good timing for them and the club but good business ???

The guy from probiz is now posting on an other site that he had 5million to put into rugby league ..............okay where is it ??? and if the "commercial mastermind" at cas has only managed to secure a tiny portion of this for the tigers (bearing in mind that fieasal loves the club so dearly) why is this ???

In short we have a millionare , who has continually declared his love for the tigers but has not made a significant investment.

I love the club and if I was a millionare I wouldnt be poncing about on forums saying how much I love the club and the game , and how much I love the commercial manager etc. My brass would be doing the talking and a stadium would be on its way up !!

I feel that people have been taken in by the whole probiz thing and from what I hear the level of investment is not as big as many have suggested.
Time to put ones money where ones mouth is ................ or don a flat cap !!!!!

Agree with this and tttigers posts.
As an outsider looking in, it looks as though this guy has all the talk and none of the walk.
Everyone he has ever jumped into bed with, will probably have been made to feel they were the one, but satisfaction rarely follows.
I think hes probably just a "player" who likes to be made to feel like a god.
To blame him for a lack of spending power is wrong or no sign of a new s------, there are others far more culpable, I'm sure Cas will live on, and maybe he will become someone else's problem?

Mr Nahaboo really got under the skin of you lot didnt he ? Even on your own forum the usual suspects kept bringing him up. There may be a few with egg on their faces regarding FN very soon. But they will just crawl back to their own forums and change screennames like GPricefan club did not too long ago .
