Micheal Dobson - Having seen the latest statement by the RFL that KR seem to have agreed a special agreement to re-register Dobson, despite going against the RFL's own rules - should fans of all clubs (obviously except Rovers) not be requesting their club and directly to the RFL that this should not be permitted. The RFL law states that the rule is there to stop clubs stock piling overseas players and then cherry picking who plays on a weekly basis, yet in affect this is what Hull KR are doing. Seems to me they are not bending rules but shattering them - they already took the mickey by getting special dispensation to sign Mason on a Tongan passport (Blocking clubs such as Huddersfield / Salford who had a genuine quota space). Surely registering Mason to the RFL while keeping Dobson's contract should mean Hull KR have exceeded quota regulations and should not have been allowed to go ahead. If they are allowed to get away with this our game will desend into a farce. Why dont Wigan terminate Fieldens contract - sign a prop - Ewan Dowes for example - using Fieldens space on the cap, then simply when Fielden is fit, re-register and send Dowes back. (Fielden then gets paid for painting the chairmans fence while out of the game each month)

Dobson seems to be a topic on most fans forums - each agreeing he's a player that they would like at their club (me included) - what I want to see is each fan and each club not wanting to see Dobson in a KR shirt again this season (as the rules) and our games so called governors enforce the rules they create.

Failing that I urge Hull FC sign Greg inglis because I heard he drank a pint of Guiness once. Apparently he only needs £20,000 a year as his wife as a £300,000 a year cleaning job.

I can't disagree. I work with a HKR fan and even he admits it's a bit suspect.

Yes - and was disgusted with my club when we fielded an unregistered player and was happy when the RFL punished us.

I'm like any other fan who wants to be believe my club competes on an even playing field. This is not playing on an even playing field. Send me the same reply if Dobson returns from injury to kick the goal to knock Cas out of the Challenge cup knowing he shouldn't by the RFL law be playing in a KR shirt.

That's obvious pal! But which bit of his post is wrong? I would say he's totally on the money and would get behind what he suggests! I have mailed the rfl. KR are totally taking an unfair advantage of the spirt of the cap and are taking the pi$$ out of all the other clubs.

Why? There's precedent (the deregistration of an injured Stacey Jones to allow Dobson to play and cover him at Catalans in 2006). If a club wants to waste their money paying someone who's not registered to play for them, and take the risk that he won't be registered this year, that's their riight. Injured players are deregisteted all the time.

This is just a transparent attempt to drag the inter-Hull arguing onto yet more boards - and it's annoying enough when it infests the VT

Thing is it was kind of understandable that a club like Catalan would do that as they were trying to get established as a new side in super league,but when a supposed heartland club with a rich history does it frankly stinks.

Where does it end?..could clubs start stockpiling overseas players and pull this stunt on a regular basis?

I feel rather proud we only had 3 overseas players in the 17 last night.

One of my work colleagues made the comment last week that it was in the RFL bye-laws that if a player was de-registered during the season he could not be registered to that club to play again in the same season. Must admit I didn't really think about it as I assumed Hull KR had already looked into that before de-registering Dobson.

I've had a bit of a downer on Hull KR cos at a time when the RFL are trying to reduce the number of overseas players in Superleague and clubs such as Cas are complying correctly with the rules in only having 5 non-federation trained players in the squad, Hull KR seemed to have a pile of overseas players.

I have to say this is a further black mark against 'em. And before anyone says 'its in the rules' I'm aware it is, doesn't mean I have to like it!

When i have completed my visa forms I have had to submit complete with my passport number of there, so if Willy have come over on an australian passport will he have to re apply for another visa once he has his 'tongan' passport

Not so sure regarding the visa tropical but im allmost sure he will have to leave the country and re enter on his tongan passport.He has a New Zealand,Aussie and Tongan passport apparently !!!
Quick trip to europe will do it.
