hmmm? Im sure cas have signed Mathers previous Gf winner and current challenge cup winner? And Salford with patten a previous Australian GF winner, im 100% certain wakey would love players of that quality in there side.

They would, but the thing is Wakey fans like to make things up to protect how they really feel, they know they're probably the favourites for the chop, so they like to attack other teams signings as a defence mechanism.

Reckon that's just an excuse from Kear for the lack of activity on Wakey's recruitment front.

Cas are in as much of a precarious position as Wakey in the long term but it didn't stop Richie Mathers signing a 3 yr deal with Cas.

This may sound harsh but for me, good. We need to strengthen our licence application on all fronts, whether that be in signings, on-field performance, youth development or stadia.

Everything needs to click into place to make us the more irresistible team and also to make us harder to drop.

I don't enjoy seeing Wakey in problems, but it does make me feel a little bit better about our application. I mean, we'll surely look the better prospect. That is, if we get our stadium up and running. We don't have that and we're right back where we started.

Who cares about whats happening to Wakey, they arent even (or shouldnt be ) on our radar, just a poorly run club who have had a few lucky seasons but are now reverting to type, scrounging a freebie stadium and conning the taxman.
