I honestly thought I would never see the day, that I thought rugby league would be ranked as low as professional darts,American wrestling and some bloke on itv wrestling having his mask ripped off-when unconscious, would stoop so low, as to attract a tv audience.

Tonight, I saw it. Now I admit to having a betting interest on Crusaders to win the game, but the descion(sic) of the ref/video ref to allow the Saints try, brought the game into disrepute-big time. Why don't we just admit that SKY dictate. Quite convenient that the race for 2nd/3rd goes to the final game of the season.

words fail me, if you want proof of sky-dominated games, just have a look through the shocking ref/video ref descions (sic) that have occured over the past few years on live games.

Ultimately, this could cost Crusaders a top-8 place and a cash windfall.

Even if you take away that one try, Saints still win, no?

Every team gets bad decisions, swings and roundabouts really.

So................... they got hammered anyway,one try wouldnt have helped them, all clubs suffer this. Why come on here as if we are upset for them

is this any different from the Liam Watts incident against Cas which was blatantly obvious that it wasnt a try.

Saints were leading by a decent margin already, take away the 6 points, they would have still gone 2nd

I thought the Saints try that was chalked off by the video ref just before the said "try" was a try as did Eddie the idiot and Stevo.

presumably the op was equally disgusted with briers try from a clearly off side position against cas at the begining of the season?

Bad decision but the correct one, as was the Liam Watts try. Unfortunately its part and parcel of the game and the rules

I thought it was a poor decision, but to suggest it was due to some Sky agenda is daft. If anything Sky & the RL have more to gain from Crusaders making the playoffs than whether Saints finish 2nd rather than 3rd.

Thats why KR wont get a look in next week, wonder if the op will be disgusted at that ???

If you thought that decision was bad you should of seen the one awarded by video ref Bill Harrigan in the NRL last week to St George's Mark Gasnier. At least he had the integrity to publicly admit his mistake after the event. At least the authorities recognised the blunder and acted appropriately by suspending him. Something the RFL could learn from but probably won't.
