Quote Wakefield Police are trying to locate the owner of a rugby league medal which has been handed into Wood Street Police Station.
In May a member of the public found the medal in Thornes Park and brought it to the police station.
The medal is described as a Divisional Premiership winners medal awarded to the Huddersfield Giants players in 1997.
Officers have carried out enquiries, however have been unable to locate the owner and would like to hear from anyone who this may belong too.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the helpdesk at Wood Street Police Station on 0845 60 60 606.'"
