| =#8040FFJust starting a thread to applaud the club on its great junior set up and the number of players produced in the past by the club that have moved onto other teams
and the large number of players currently in the Tigers youth set up from 16s all the way to 20s, some top talent in them and the numbers of HOME GROWN players in the current squad is just rewards for the great effort the youth coaches put in.
Next season, there will be at least 12 club trained players in the first team squad: Thompson, Owen, Arundal, Orr, Huby, Milner, Walker, Westerman, Harris, Holmes, Davies, Brierley - all but 3 of these have played for Cas this year, 1 has played for another SL club, Shenton is another Cas trained player who has been in the first team all year and now is England's first choice left centre.
If Massey stays that's 13 and if the rumour of Oliver Elima is also true, 14 players of the squad would have been brought through the Tigers system.
If Evans is released (which he should be, imo) the club would only have: Chase, McGoldrick & Widders as overseas players next year, if the Andrew Ryan rumour is false.
Well done to the club, something we should all be proud of and long may it continue.

Got to be applauded but over the last decade its been frustrating losing some of our youngsters for various reasons.
Elima back would be fantastic,
He should never have been allowed to leave.

| I pointed this out to my mate a few weeks ago. Not just about the youth in our 1st team squad but also the amount of english guys we have in our squad too. It's a pretty decent effort from the club and long may it continue.

Peter Box is the father and he won't pay a penny due to Elima's Wakefield connections, the swine.

| =#8000FFBrierley, I can see him getting a squad number with the first team, even if he only gets a couple of games.
In regards to Elima there's a rumour of him coming back to the club.
There you go

| Me neither. He'd be out for 12 months at least. Still it'd be typical of Cas!

| As much as i think Elima is a good player, and has improved significantly since he left Cas, i hope we dont bring him back, he was the main instigator in inciting crowd trouble when the Cas fans threw the bottles onto the pitch when we played Catalans at home, his attitude was a joke, and i just dont like the guy.
However, its not up to me is it
