Echo all the sentiments posted already ,one thing tho do the Clubs themselves know that they will be playing for the Adam Watene Trophy? ,i only ask because there's absolutley jack all on the Tigers site about it (not visited the Wakey official site so don't know about them) If this is the case then its a real shame and a bit of a slight to the memory of Adam.

The game on Sunday being played for Adam Watene trophy makes everything else that is happening within both clubs pail into insignificance.

Not so sure the Big guy would have agreed with that TBH, local clubs playing derby games is what made men like Adam tick.

But i take the point mate.

Is the Adam Watene Fund still going? Would have been nice for the club to put a £1 levy on each ticket for the fund - especially as we're looking at a sell out.

Could have been a nice £5k for Adam's family.

Unlikely it will be a sell-out. The club are optimistic of getting five figures though.

Its been wrapped up officially but from time to time a donation from Sky's man of the match does find its way to the familly.

Nice idea though.

Maybe one for next year...
