| I went for "Terry has been okay, but i think we have gone as far as we can with him now"
I really don't know what to make of his team selections, they are beyond ridiculous sometimes. With limited resources he has done ok with some players and absolutely nothing with others.
It's time we got someone new in with fresh ideas and tactics that go beyond one man rugby with little to offer in defence.
However I don't feel that it's just Terry that needs to go. We need some fresh ideas up top as well as more cash to spend.

| Apart from playing players out of position most of the time even when most are fit,the conditioning and fitness of the players, crap defense and the fact he appears to have created a click in the squad which is bad for the club ...he's been great ![Smile icon_smile.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_smile.gif)

| =#8000FFNever rated him, should have been sacked after relegation and the sooner he gets out of the club the better, the players don't respect him and LAUGH at him when he tries to instil some discipline.

| Started off OK and did a good job in 2006 under pressure and behind the eight ball but continual problems in defence, fitness and general performances have left me believing it is time to cut ties.
Similarly, a new coach may shake things up a little and convince some of our players that it is worth staying at Cas. The potential benefits are unreal.

| I agree with much of what is being said - but the "new coach effect" is very short lived and Fergie endured dodgy years at Scumchester and was reportedly on his way out but for that famous Mark Robbins goal..... So I do think you need to build something - but that building has to be on the field and off.
When I think back to the Raper era, arguably when we were last modestly successful - on the field there was Vowles, Orr, Raper, Sampson amongst other- people who led the team.
When TM got us back and did well - He had Nutley, Awen, Brad around and people who have hearts like bin-lids like Donlan amongst others.....
I look on the field now and don't see anyone with that in them anymore, who is the respected figure, who's the go to man?
This is not based on players abilities, it is something inside players that makes them leaders and we don't seem to have many at the moment.... now arguably that could come from the coach too - but I think at this level people over-estimate the effect of a coach on fitness, training and the in-game stuff....... these guys do this for a job and professional pride should take care of most of these things.
Innane ramblings of someone who should work harder - feel free to ignore.

Good points, especially about leadership. Our signings and contracts have been baffling at times, what has gone wrong who is picking our new recruits ? TM must have some input i hope.
