Does anyone know the extent of his injury, seems pretty serious?

I've heard it could be his hamstring but not 100% sure.....just what i've been told.

It said on Sky news last night that it was a bad injury but did not say what it was or to what extent.

On the radio it said it was knee ligament damage

Last night was prob his last in a Cas shirt then!

Looked like a knee injury.

Unfortunately it would seem that way.

Really upset about this if true I mean we don’t get that many home grown international class players down at Cas and when we do they seem to get picked off by the big boys. Can’t really fault Shenton for this as he is close to his physical prime and deserves to play in a winning team like Saints but had the club shown a bit more ambition to build on last year’s exploits he may have been more eager to sign an extension but now we seem resigned to the fact that he is gone and it hurts to say that.
The fans need a statement of intent from the club on all fronts and soon!

I hope his injury isn't too bad and he's back soon, and i also hope he doesn't leave us for Saints, he's a Cas lad with lots of potential. Where ever he goes, i hope he improves vastly in both attack and defence. He's been really quiet for us now for far too long, and despite his hit on Shifty last night, he wasn't anything special and his effort for one of the tries was poor imo.

that means nothing mate, matterson probbably hasnt realised he is still injured or there simply might not be 19 players available, nothing would surprise me this season
