The South West Conference Division has
5 Devon teams (Plymouth, Exeter, Devon Sharks of Torquay, East Devon Eagles of Exmouth, and North Devon Raiders of Barnstaple)
2 Somerset teams (Vikings in North Petherton, Warriors in Yeovil)
and South Dorset Giants.
There's also Swindon St Goerge in the London League, Wiltshire Wyverns who played and won their first game on Saturday, Bristol Sonics (who have a second team) and Gloucestershire Warriors (with these two in the Midlands Premier).
Exeter Uni has two teams, and their three-year record is 'quarters, semis, quarters' in the National Championship. Their top team plays in Premier South - Gloucester Uni are in the elite Super 8, finishing 3rd behind Leeds Met and Loughborough, and above Hull, Edge Hill, St Mary's, Northumbria and Birmingham.
Gloucs and Exeter Unis have second teams who play in the Wales & West SRL Division, with Bristol, and then Swansea and Glamorgan.
There are kids teams in training in Plymouth, Exeter, Bristol, Gloucester and Cheltenham.
There were/will be schools competitions in Plymouth, Torbay, Exeter, Gloucestershire, Bristol and Swindon, with over 1000 kids in the SW being coached RL this year.
Cornwall is the only county/country in Britain with no RL.. yet!
