Today Sheffield Eagles have signed Mike Burnett on loan from Hullfc. A player with bags of super league experience who also plays SR.

Castleford Tigers play Super league with 7000+ average gates

Sheffield Eagles play NL1 with gates at 800+ average gates

I'm not sure that's a fair comment as there have been numerous examples in the past of players having had their contracts renegotiated or ended on medical grounds either through continued injury problems or by not satisfying expectations in a medical before completion of their contract. In reality, finance for playing staff is going to be at a premium while ever we're pursuing the new stadium, which obviously commands a large amount of effort and financial commitment. Whilst the current situation is frustrating I really do feel that patience is a virtue.

Might be because we didn't want to loan Burnett out for a month over Easter. Where as with Sheffield its a dual registration where he will play for Sheffield when he's not needed at Hull.
