Quote ="jamess"Anybody know if TM contract is up for renewal , personally i would not give him another, i think coaches should move on every five years he's done reasonably well on limmited resaurces our squad simply not good enough and too many national league ability players.
We all know who they are and appreciate they cost very little on the Cap, we need to freshen up and have some new idea's and spend the full salary cap allowance for our club to move forward.
We can see the improvement at other clubs and we seem to be standing still this is not all Terry's fault in my opinion five years is long enough even a top class coach like Tony Smith did not stay five years at Hudds , Leeds , England and probably not Warrington but already as a trophy in the cabinet and an improving team along with Wigan , Hull , Hudds , Bradford. I know most of these teams have a bigger fan base therefore bigger salary cap but surely our salary cap is on par with Hudds. Any thoughts.......?'"
Well after reading and enjoying this message board for ages, I now feel i have to have my rant.
I feel that the board and coach at my beloved cas have thrown in the towel and are preparing for life outside superleague. If thats the case then they should hold their hands up and tell us, I would sooner have a financially sound club operating at a level we can afford than be fed all this bull and barring 3 or 4 players . having the worst playing staff in my memory ,(born 57 in duke street and been going since i was 4).
Matterson and the clowns in charge will have to move on before things get better darnt lane.
My take on the new stadium, unless we go cap in hand and have one given like our neighbours then forget it, the way were playing and being run we dont need one anyway. To say im peed off with the current situation at cas is an understatement, but we will survive , what league we will be in is anybodies guess
god help cas
