On the whole, I would imagine most people in rugby league last year would have said Cas had a GOOD season. From bottom, to Top 8 in twelve months, is improvement and to me constituted a GOOD season. However, we have some of the most whingeworthy supporters in Super League and even a Top 8 finish wasn't a good season to them.

What will constitute a GOOD season this year ?

Doesn't have to be a top 8 spot, for me.

We need to be much better at home and suffer no more of those 60/70 point nightmares.

That would do for me too.

Grand Final appearance, cup winners, double over Leeds and Saints, new coach (preferably English), getting rid of those over-rated Aussies.

Top eight, semi CC. more wins at home.
Like i said this time last season, i would like to see us win more games than we lose....which we achieved last season.

Winning more than losing and building work started on the new stadium would be great .

Top 8 again. Its unlikely we can replicate our away form but we could maintain our position with better home form. Agree, no more 60-70 point hidings and it would be great to dish one out ourselves!

A cup run would be awesome.

But mainly work on the stadium. Thats vital in 2010

big improvment on home form, same away form as last season and the league position will take care of its self (but i think that may be easier said than done in 2010) NO MORE BAD PRESS for our so called fans, start work on the new ground and i think that would do for me

i dont expect us to make the play offs due to a waffer thin squad. the best we can hope for would be a good cup run "semis" with the bonus that we will have bedded in some more youngsters with the likes of jordy thompson,john davies and oliver holmes proving to be super league quality for the future.


off the field bricks been layed on the new stadium and new contracts for michael shenton and richard owen would be a great foundation from which to work from.

Couple of good young lads coming through into the first team, in particular a halfback when Shifty gets a knock or 2.

Then for me its Stadium, Stadium, closely followed by the Stadium!!!

Top 8 may not happen this year, I reckon if we drop out of the 8, but get more home wins it will keep the fans happier than last year.

The team do better than last season more so at home, the promoted young players achieve more than whats expected of them, the stadium building work is on schedule with no delays and news of changes to the BOD. Extra money being introduced so the club can add top players to the squad.Hopefully the formost will be achieved but as for the latter three it will more likely be wishfull thinking??

Some real movement on the new stadium, some of the younger squad players showing real promise.

The continued improvement of the likes of Owen,Shenton & Westerman.
