There are alot of rumours the Ford is coming to Widnes, is he any good

not too good in super league but he was ok for sheffield in nl1, but i thought he was signing for halifax.

Fordy has signed for Widnes, got blistering pace and should be a very good signing.

on twice as much than he got at cas and for a part time deal as well so he can still teach

He'll be rolling it in aswell. Looks like he's got a good deal!!

He is probably one of our better backs but never got much of a chance to develop at Cas.
He will score more try's for you than Wainwright ever would thats for sure.

I wouldnt be so sure last time we were in division 1 he scored 12 tries in the season, not bad for a winger who's centre wouldnt pass to him, he was batleys top try scorer with something like 19 tries in a season if iirc. the only thing snowie is missing is sl level pace, put him in nl1 and he would score tries for fun.

no great loss for us, not as good as our other backs.
Wainwright is the better of the two
But should do really well in NL1 tho, and score a fair few tries.

i wouldnt bank on that mate but one thing is for sure he will let a hell of a lot more trys in over the season than wainwright would, i cant understand people who come on here and knock wainwright he may not be the quickest winger in the league but he is a 110% commited player and its very rare he lets us down so i think people should get off his back.

Wainwright doesn't have the pace to take players on the outside which is why he always cuts back inside.
He doesn't have the strength/balance or evasive skills to stay on his feet in contact despite his 110% effort,so doesn't score many try's.And he does have the odd game where he comes up with a few costly bloomers (Catalan game).He's no match winner,solid at best and he's not going to get any better,where as Ford had more potential.
But i am not too fussed about either player,i just hope he isn't our first choice left wing next season and we're looking for someone better.

not had a fair crack of the whip at the Tigers I have seen him play twice for you guys and done nothing wrong. Should go well for Widnes

The only bad game i can remember him having this season and even then i would say he did more right than wrong that day.
